you know u guys if u look at last year's processing times around the same time apr 2011....it was much quicker people who had applied in jan were already getting visas....its like the whole process has been slowed down. i don't think the avg processing times stand true any more

Hey Amira, no one can crrtaintly tell you how it will be, because every case is different, every VO may be different, and I think it also depends on the quarter.
We sometimes never really know what CIC-ND does. The only things we say about "Times" are educated guesses or assumptions, theories- not facts.

So the only thing we can provide for you is an estimation- based on past applicants and timeline on the spreadsheet. In reality, we can be right, or it can be delayed for whatever reason, and best of all- something can even happen earlier than our Estimation.

So going forward- you are on the track. Estimated that your PPR would be middle of May thru end of May, after that- your file may go to "In process" anywerw between
Two weeks and the remaining 6 months time

Thanks, this helps!

It's a good sign in that you've completed another step but unfortunately Delhi asks for the passport upfront, not when it's ready to issue the visa. So there's no real telling how long the rest of the process will be, except as caprwife said, 80% of cases are finalized within 6 months.

Thank you. I hope it doesn't take more than 2 or 3 months. We are trying to have my sister in laws wedding just before my husband comes here. Its just my husband, fatherinlaw and her. The guy side is demanding we set a date soon. :X

my other question is my husband travelled to uk for 2 years for tourist visa. He also worked for 1 year. He came back 4 months early. We have added a PCC from UK along with the file. Will there be a delay because of his travel history?
