@garudha: All the very very best for your upcoming interview! Here's sending you positive vibes and hoping all goes well with your process and you get the visa soon :) Be confident and good luck!

there is no problem, if you ever looked at the requirements for legal change of name you don;t need PR card, the 3 documents required by feds are copy of your record of landing imm 1000, certified copy of a legal change of name document and certified copy of your provincial driver’s licence, provincial identification card or provincial health card in the requested name.

i think we should put this discussion to bed, its been beaten to death...lol.

i know bro but the problem here is when i get my legal name change the previous name would be "xyz xyz singh" instead of just "xyz singh"
so now i have proper matching pr card with my copr and pr card thus once i get my name change certifcate it will have my old name i.e. last name "xyz singh" and new name as "xyz singh surname"

Hi guys
Yesterday my hubby received letter from CIC ND
For PPR and PCC and with request they also sent travelling information form

So in the form we have to complete the form they said also include yr family information
Where they visited and sign it and return it.

So issue is this we already sent pp and PCC with all proofs on 24 jan 2012
First sent us PPR by email and now letter.
Plz tell me wat to do? Plz give yr advice
Thanx

Do the email and the physical letters have different dates? maybe the letter was mailed after the email, in error. If so, you have already sent in your documents. Maybe send them an email (using the website) and let them know that you have already sent in the info and include a tracking number or speed post receipt (if applicable)

the PPR, and PCC is just a generic part of the letter (i think). Did the email also ask you to send in the 'travelling information'? if not, then maybe they forgot to ask for it the first time. In that case, send them that info and include a letter saying that you have already sent in the other stuff as per the email request (and attach the email).

hope this helps
(ps, this is not legal advise)

Hello Everybody,

I am new to the forum. I wanted to share my timeline and also have a few questions that i thought would share with everyone.

Application sent date : 30 Dec 2011
AOR date: 15 Feb 2012
Sponser Approved : 16 Feb 2012

I have a few questions

1) After I receive my PPR, within how many days do i have to submit my passport to the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi? Is there a time limit for that?

2) If I submit the passport 2 months after receiving my PPR, would it in anyway delay my process? To be precise will the VO in NewDelhi still process my file even if i do not send my passport or will they keep my file on hold till the passport is received?

Thanks,
Karp

Adress is still diappeared on ECAS but slightly change in ECAS they started working on application on 4 february 2012

Hi Rajneet,

You have to send the travel information form and also mention in the covering letter that you have already sent the passport and pcc.

@singhson

i know bro

but in BC for legal name change PR card is required and today i have got this done and now i am good
check the following link for reference:

congrats karp2012 for your approval
when they will request your passport, they will give you deadline also. you ll have to submit your PP before that date otherwise you will have to apply again ( im not expert but i think so)
best of luck :)

Hey guys,

I just checked my ecas. The status changed to In Process and when I click on it, it says application received on 23 Sep, Started processing the application on Feb 8 and Medical results have been received. I'm happy that they have started processing our application. Hopefully we hear the good news soon. Our address is still not back.

Guys and girls, please check your ecas. Looks like ND has started working again. I saw in this forum that rajneet's status also changed to in process.

Hoping to hear some kind of progress from everyone on this forum.

Ajay

Hi Guys,

Some good news from my end too...

Even my Ecas is updated. The status changed to "In Process". When I click on it, it says "Application received on 23rd Sept. We started processing your application on Feb 10, 2012. Medical results have been Received." And Yes Address is still missing.

Hopefully we all receive our shining visa soon... Insha Allah

@Siva
What does your ecase say?

Congratulation to Ajay and rajneet on moving a step forward!!! :)

That's great news rajneet. In my opinion, it's good news as it shows that ND have started looking into your application.
Regarding the letter that you received from ND, did it say "if not already submitted" for passport and PCC? If it did, then it's a generic letter. Even if it didn't, I believe there is no need to panic. In my opinion, fill the travel form and write a cover letter explaining that you have already sent your PP and PCC along with a copy of the letter you received in the email. That should serve the purpose and if they have any questions, they will get back to you. Don't worry, all sorts of things do happen when we are dealing with our beloved ND.

@ ajay457 and kannadiga

OMG, looks like you guys will get the DM very soon! If "medical results received" showed up just now, then DM is the next step! YAY!!!

What does your ecase say?

Congrats Kannadiga. Happy to know that ND has finally started working after a dull 2-3 weeks.

I'm sincerely hoping and praying for the senior members Yug, Kuku, newdelhi2011, etc to start receiving their DM's. Don't understand why ND keeps such a backlog.

Siva, I think your ecas should also have changed. Let us know.
