I guess they will easily tie up the medicals that was received for the latest passport that you sent with PPR....
I hope you would have also mentioned the story of lost passport somewhere in your cover letter of application or something...

In any case, I know how worrisome it is if we doubt that whether our application would be interpreted and processed properly !!!

Good luck....we are also eagerly waiting for you guys approval so ours gets moved faster ;)

@ vengat83:

Oh yes, fully explained in the cover letter. My lawyer had two sets of cover letters, explaining the circumstances of how my hubby and i met and got married, one from me, which was 4 pages and one from my hubby which was 3 or 4 as well.

It helps in making them understand the concept of Indian marriages, haha!

I wish you luck and I absolutely look forward to hearing some good news from my hubby and ecas, lol

My Phillipinio consultant did almost the same...We wrote two versions of the same marriage story (from date of meeting/arranging to till date), one from my point of view and other from my wife...Each came to about 10 pages.

I could have easily convinced the VO at ND than convincing my Philippino consultant about Indian marriages :D

@ singhson

Thanks! I hope so too!! I remember when I came to Canada less than 2 years ago, it said "medicals received" after a long time and then 3 weeks after, I got a DM, so I realllllly hope Babaji makes it happen

I know some got the "medicals received" right away after approval, but I guess every case different , and also every Consular Officer and their working styles vary, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

10 pages each?? Wow, seems like an epic love story to me ;)

I really hope this is still true because my ecas still says application received. I'm eagerly waiting for it to say medicals received and as you said hopefully 3 weeks later it'll say DM. Guess I'm dreaming too much but seriously hope my dreams come true. This is for all the people who dream of good things like this Hip Hip Hurray!!!

Mine still says "Application Received".Hoping it goes to medicals received in a couple of days.

Its kind of hard to keep track of all ND applicants from different spreadsheets. And other VOs timeline might not be applicable to us...

So I have created a new spreadsheet for NEW DELHI applicants which is a consolidated list of ND applicants from Aug, Sept and Oct spreadsheets.

http://tinyurl.com/75kt986

If anyone wants access or need to add more names/timeline, let me know...
Persons before Aug, let me know the names/timelines, so that I can added those as well.

Good luck to all.
