this info is really helpful as i am also thinking of visiting ND
Yes I am also planing to visit CHC ND in the first week of Oct !

All we can do is wish each and every one best of luck as every individual in this forum is frustrated now. No one other than CHC ND can help us. So best option is to wait patiently & pray to God...............I hope this frustrating period ends soon for everyone.

hello everyone

today i visited CHC ND to get any new update about my file..........after 45 mins. of waiting they gave ne a printed note that embassy will email you within 10 days regarding your enquiry

hey guys, i have a question about police clearance. My husband's PCC issue date was March 15, 2011. I filed the application on July 4th, coz i saw somewhere in the website that it was valid for 6 months not 3 months. i was scared that CIC mississauga might not accept it, but I got approved 2 weeks back. So, do you guys think ND would ask for the new one? my husband hasn't gone back to that country since the date it was issued. If they are going to ask for new one, we might as well start applying for it as it takes more than a month to arrive.

Hello Buddy !

Yes Indian PCC is valid for only 6 months from the date of issue and there is nothing to worry about PCC and where as CHC ND VO will never ask another PCC even if processing goes beyond normal time.

FYI : My PCC already expired last month :-) Just cool and there is nothing to worry !

Its clearly mentioned in the CIC rules that they will not respond to our enquiry if the application is within normal processing times i.e 6 months !

Another question: is it possible to get a visitors visa while your process of sponsorship is going on? I wonder if they would grant those.

99% unlikely.

..they WILL REPLY to your CSE if the question you ask is NOT DUMB.
So many ppl have got a PPR through a CSE reply, so make sure what you ask them makes sense and not "ohh what is my update"
