hello all ..

this is my 7th wk and i am yet to hear from cic ..

ours is a straight case .. 1st mrg to both of us n same caste ..
i never travelled out of india till now ..

i am scared now .. neither found any update in ecas nor received my pp ...

will they ask for any additional docs now tht aftr so many days aftr receiving my pp?? i am very tensed ..

found few ppl got their status updated in ecas has received their ppr after mine ...

we sent more than 200 pics, our mails and chats screen shots, phone bills from my side as he used calling cards , mrg certificate and other documents whatever they requested ...

i am feeling very odd now .. no response from them ..
very scared to even send them a mail as i have heared sometime before in the forum tht VO may get irritated if he see lots of mails for enquiry .. so i dont want to send any mail to them ..

i sent my pp through blue dart to the below address :

Immigration Section,
7/8, Shantipath,
Chanakyapuri, P.O Box 5209,
New Delhi 110021 ..

i found that my pp got delivered to this address on 31aug2010 .. i took this address frm my ppr letter ..

AM I GOING IN D RIGHT DIRECTION ....

i am really very very scared and tensed now ...

not able to concentrate in any work due to this ....

what shall i do now??

oh GOD pls help[ me ... tell the VO who is handling all our cases to send us visa soon as we all r feeling the pain of seperation from our spouses ... really getting hard day by day ...

no other go it seems ./. we have to wait till we get / hear something from them ...

Hey Chitu - your anxiety is natural, however, as this point there is nothing else you can do. I know is hard, easier said than done...but we just have to wait and you will get an answer in due time!

I cant remember where i read this or heard nd lets you know within the first 2 months if there will be an interview or not, anyone else remember reading that

Don't worry guys, its just taking time due to increased number of immigration frauds. ND CHC is taking time to get everything verified properly. As ND ask for PP in very early stage of application process, so we are getting frustrated. Many countries CHC ask for PP only when everything is verified. Don't panic and think good.

Hey!

Yup, it's been 2.5 months now since they have my PP. I did email them (to no avail) and got a different answer every time...final review/initial review/BC checks are going on...I am guessing that they are verifying my BC in Canada as I was there for over 8 years.

We ordered CAIPS which should be arriving this week, and hopefully they would shed some light on whats going on!

@minku..For me its been 7 weeks(50days today) since i sent my pp..n i have stayed in canada for almost one n half year as a student..do u thnk it could be a reason for delaying in our process and not receivin pp ..??
coz here i noticed ppl got their passports earlier than me..or u..their processin started later but they got their pp before us..what could be the possible reason..
n could u plz share ur CIAPS with us once u ll get it..thanks!!

@chinthu: we are in a similar situation bt i have been to canada before so i m guessin it could be a reason for the delay....my 8th week has started n havnt heard from them as well...
its worryin me too..coz every tuesday we are expecting an update and when we dnt get what we expect it leads to frustration ....patience is all we need!!!!

Just resend the more Photos to ND CHC. They requested more photos and by god grace not for interview. The Letter dated 1st Oct took nine days to reach me. Now again wait game is on.
In letter it was written send photos b4 30th Oct otherwise application will be refused. So from this good is that they will do something b4 30th Oct.

I know they check FOSS thru CBSA (what I've heard), RCMP among other stuff. I was on a student then work visa, so, I'm guessing that's what they are looking into...but again, it;s hard to believe verification in Canada could take up to 3 months...considering everything is electronic. Then again, another factor could be my new PP I got after arrival in India....again, I'm just shootong arrows in the dark and really hope the VO has mentioned something in his notes!

Will share definitely my CAIPS notes, I'm anxious to see them!

I can understand how you must be stressed now, regardless, you cant change it now and it's water under the bridge! You just have to wait and see what they say....regardless, I wish you guys good luck and hope you guys get to see each other sooner than later!
There is a 2 year ban for misrepresentation from Canada under IRPA, don't mean to scare you but you may want to look into it! Lets hope for the best!

@ minku: is that the case?..bt where did u get to kno that it could take 3 months for verifyin things in canada.. i was wondering why do they even ask for police clearance certificates from us if they wre gona verify themselves..i provided them police clearance cert from canada police as well..

I dont know if it takes 3 months...btw - you did not have to send PCC from Canada, they check themselves...anyhow, I talked to a lawyer in TO and he mentioned they check FOSS, RCMP records, etc, etc....obviously, in my case they are checking more than considering the time its taking!

To be honest, no one really knows what they can/do check in BC checks...as mentioned previously, I hope I can catch something in my CAIPS notes!

Did you receive a letter? what did the letter say??? Being asked for an interview after 10 month of PPR request generally has something to do with your background/security checks.

My wife checked on line it came up In Process then she clicked on In Process it said intereview on 2nd November.

I have got no letter yet. What kind of question do you think I will be asked???

Should my wife attend the intereview with???

If you search this forum for interview questions you will find useful information and sample questions people have been asked in the past. I am not sure if you wife (sponsor) needs to attend the interview, if so, it will be mentioned in the letter...I doubt it!
