I already gt the ppr on 6th June.. Ve nt mailed the passport yet.. I assumed they wld nt open the file until they receive the pp.. Coz i read smwhr that ppr is a standard letter that is mailed out to everyone n once the pp is rcvd, the file is transferred to the appropriate vo.. I m kinda surprised that the file is movin n wondering wats happening to it...

I was the famous one who quoted that, unfortunatley in my eyes that is how i see it...i hope your case is finalized soon.
There have been a very few members who had in process before a PPR..example me, DNT etc ..which means there is a delay down the road..

as per my observation that in process before PPR or once passport reaches ND and then it changes to in process doesnt make any difference because PPR is automated process and if its in process then it means that they are working on the file but once the pp is received they will finalize it but they can work on the file without PP as well.

Yes ppr is a standard letter it is issued to everyone.Whatever happens to the case ,positive or negative ,they ask for the pp.It is a way of showing by the VO that we have completed the process and we haven't skipped any steps.

ecas is messed up man when I check it says IN Process - Recieved Application...Interview june.21 nothng else

when my husband checks from India it also says medical results have been recieved
why dont I see that :O:O

In simple words we can say that they can process the file anytime and make decision anytime and status can change to "IN PROCESS" anytime no matter PPR is sent or not and once they have the PP they can make a final decision

it might be login issue
You have two options to login to ecas
1. with ur details
2. with ur husband's details

using the above information, while logging differently, the info can be opened as different

I m kinda happy to knw that they r workin on my file despite receiving the pp.. Hopin that this is a positive sign

dear i think its just ur luck it can b +ve or can b -ve sign but as far i know without receiving ur pp they r not going to start process. they go by the step n once they receive the pp after tht they can go to next step n start processing it. they cant do like skip this step n start doing ur background check n start working n ur file......................................but hope for best n pray. good luck all

Just checked E-CAS. It says "Decision Made"!!! with the standard text "a decision has been made on your application. the office will contact you regarding the decision." I wonder its the positive news now.. I am a nervous wreck...

Congrats, you will have the passport with visa in a week.

Has ur status been updated?? You sent ur passport sm time back...

dear i think its just ur luck it can b +ve or can b -ve sign but as far i know without receiving ur pp they r not going to start process. they go by the step n once they receive the pp after tht they can go to next step n start processing it. they cant do like skip this step n start doing ur background check n start working n ur file......................................but hope for best n pray. good luck all

plz dont mind me saying this but i have observed it personally. when it goes to in process, it means that they work on the file. when you click on In Process it will show as follows:

We started processing application on ---(date)

It may say medical results have been received.

Baki god knows....... what ND actually do.....

After all these conflicting replies, I am getting anxious!!!! I hope this is not a negative sign.. My app is quite simple- love marriage, knw my husband since he was in India more than 3 years back..

no dear same status application received but dont worry im not saying u its -ve sign. look nin fprince case he his status was in process b4 ppr n same in dnt but u got ur ppr so dont take any tension n pray GOD. it just ur luck mate u cant say any thing abt ND. good luck

I agree n hope everythin's fine.. Don't want to stay in India for long long time.. Though I ve prepared myself for a min 3 month wait.. It's just my hormones rite nw.. My exam is in 3 days n I m hell lot of tensed.. Kinda ventin my grief on this forum.. Ahhhh... Y do we ve to study?? Can't even enjoy my last few days here!!!!

thei is nothing negative. They are processing your file that is all. Until it says decision made, sit back and relax and do not think negative. Cheers
