Hello Guys, I have been a sorta silent reader on this forum! I might have posted this before but I am in huge confusion.

My husband had already done his medicals when he misplaced his passport, hence he applied for a new one. It should be issued in about 3 weeks.

My question is, when I send the application, should I send the "medical form" that the DMP gave to us at that time or should he go ahead and get his medicals done again??

Your inputs will be highly appreciated.

And btw, Congratulations to everyone who got their visas recently!

I do not think he will have to go for another medicals (as long as his one year is not up). Nowhere on the Medical form does it mention the passport name or anything. I think you should go ahead with the medicals he has done.

Same Medical form you did with the lost passport...don worry, passport number should be listed in their database and they will know it is you even after you get a new PP.

My MP asked me to send the copy of my PPR mail and i already sent her. she said she will get back to me. Do you know in how many days the additional document request get expired? She was telling me that they sent it on March 31st. I really hope they don't screw up my case

Brin - Can you help.

If i remember correctly they usually gave a 45 day deadline, not sure and could change.

Write them a email and say you never received it and you are waiting for communication from CHC ND...i know this is a big time screw up.

I had received additional documents letter and the date by which to submit the documents was 45 days from the date the letter was generated.

I think you should completely explain the situation to them. Emphasize that you have not received any communication from them since mm/DD/CCYY.

I think you are very close to visa approval, may be 2 to 3 days. Check e-cas update on saturday and it will be "decision made" for you.
It seems to me that they received your passport and forgot about it. This is normal for a lot of cases. I got decision made 6 days after sending a mail. They never replied to my e-mail. So, your CSE has waken them up and they will stamp it this week.

@ FebPR - Dude did u send them a mail or email? I'm thinking of sending them an email, they have my wife's passport for 2 months now. What u think i should write in email.

Hello everyone,

First of all thanks for your wishes.

I would like to congratulate Benjo and others who received their visas.

My wife has received her current passport back on the morning of June 23 (Inda). Visa was issued on June 17. I guess they never wanted to see her old passports. Now we will have to wait for them to return the old ones or my wife may have to go to CHC New Delhi to ask for them.

Good news to end the week.... My wife got her passport with VISA today in India.

and it feels Awesome..

Application Filed: Mar 31, 2011
Sponsorship Approved: May 04, 2011
File Transfer: May 19, 2011
Passport Req: May 30, 2011 (Recvd on Jun 06, 2011)
Passport Sent: Jun 08, 2011
Decision Made: Jun 20, 2011
Passport Received: Jun 24, 2011

Total Time: 81 Days

FebPr is correct...they give 45 days to submit additional docs. U shld send them another CSE and also get the MP to work on this. Don't worry..it got screwed up in the middle..and it's not ur fault. Hopefully ND will address this soon! Good luck!

Just checked E-CAS. It says "Decision Made"!!! with the standard text "a decision has been made on your application. the office will contact you regarding the decision." I wonder its the positive news now.. I am a nervous wreck...

All set to fly, but I hate the shopping part of it, and the the feeling of "did I foget this, did I forget that" I hate that! and random people coming and asking.. oh I've got 2 kilo can you take it.. blah blah.. I would, but I hate to be the keeper!
