No. They usually don't give any reason as to why they did not go for an interview. But what I have seen is that if you have following situations then there might be an interview.

1. Second marriage for any one of applicant or sponsor.
2. Date of marriage within 2 to 3 weeks of knowing eachother
3. Age gap of more than 7 or 10 years

I know what you mean,, only if they did the First Come First Served... but they've got no-where in their books to follow that procedure. If they think the additional docs you sent (you may have posted, but what was asked in add-docs?) are sufficient for what they need then they will waive the IView, but IMO IView is much better than not hearing anything from them.. so far only happened to 1 person that after interview they havent sent the passport bak to her (sonyji) but usually everyone gets them back 2 weeks after the interview. She is just un-lucky, and I have a feeling her passport is sitting on some VO who was supposed to stamp it, and may have miss-placed it. They never admit their mistakes.. Must be looking in the whole office for her passport with some magnifying glass.

They've had a habit of asking for interview almost in 2 weeks and eCAS also says the DATE but no time, and you'd also get the letter, but recently I've seen they now give about 4 weeks notice.

in any case I would love an interview, I'd never mind it, cuz the PPT is guaranteed (almost) if everything is smooth, and again people with Genuine Marriage should all feel the same.

Oh, I feel for sonyji..ND has bunch of monkeys working for them.

They requested phone bills and photos of us after marriage. We sent my phone bills up unitll june 11, and skype logs up untill june 4, and couple of picutres. I wouldn't mind doing the interview if it makes the process faster, it's just i know the idiots who work there have tendency to screw up people's applications casue they don't care. My Ecas still sayd application recieved. They had sent a letter back in April but my husband never got it because of the postal system in India (gotta love india), and then he got another letter requesting passport and addtional documents.

I feel your pain with IPS, cdngirl had a similar situation where they sent her the letter on beg of the month, and she got it in the END of the month.. I highly doubt IPS in my case where I have yet to see a PPR.

Looks like they just wanted to make sure you've continued your relationship after the application, and wanted the proof, since you've provided all that, I have a good feeling your IView will be waived, also after the wedding how long you guys stayed together? Was there honeymoon?

I may have read it, but where is your husband located and where are you located?

I think the dealy in your file is due to the letter being received late. Stupid IPS!!!

Do you know when the additional documents were delivered at New Delhi. There is a high probability that they will approve you file in 1 or 2 weeks. If it's not approved, then we can think of sending an CSE just to wake them. Although it's too early to send a CSE.

pretty impressed.. you're close with the dates - they sent it on apr 7 and he got in on may 2....
I'm sure IPS rises to the occassion.. its just that I didn't have a good experience

I think the reason they asked for additional proof was b/c my phone bill which i had sent was from March and i had returned to canada end of jan. I also said no the honeymoon question, b/c u know i'm honest like that, and stupid, i should've lied and said yes and sent our outing pictures as honeymoon as they were quite intimate as well. That's what we ended up sending since they requested more pictures (pictures of us kissing each other on cheeks). We stayed together for 6 days after marriage but we have known each for about 1.5 months since we met. I hope what i have sent is enough.

I'm in T.dot and hubby is in baroda.

I try, hence the reason I try my best to keep everyone updated on the table as well, and I do remember listting this part where i said SLOW IPS!

But check this out Table you will see I've kept this line for you and the reason was because of IPS being slow..
