Dude, relax and calm down..You can not start thinking about this, too early.
Why are you thinking about a rejection? do understand everyone is nervous, until you get the PP with Visa anything is possible.

1. It shows up on ecas or they send a letter or both
2. They still need the PP to reject sometimes, usually they wont reject without an interview for this office.
3. Not heard abt this in this thread, interview rate has been 100% pass in 2011.

My wife is in Kathmandu, Nepal. For Nepal, Delhi sends the mail to the Canadian Consulate in Kathmandu in bathces......they send mail only once a week and it arrives at the consulate every Tuesday evening.

thecoolguysam, everyone on this forum/thread knows exactly what you are going through. we're all are/were in the same situation. It is a difficult phase being apart from your spouse. But it is important to stay positive - especially on the days that you feel your worst.

this forum provides great support and inspiration.. so stay in touch and before you know it you'll be reunited with your wife

does the ecas status updates only on tuesdays or it can change anyday? because it is said on website that it is changed every tuesday.....

We are tired of this waiting... I can't enjoy anything... frustrated all the time....even if they ask for an interview we will be happy because we will have a date in mind then...we are thinking of sending a CSE next week...

I am in the same state as yours. Can't concentrate in anything. Hats off to Fprince.

My passport reached 2nd may and no change is status since then. I am also planning to send an CSE. I know for sure they won't reply, but at least it will get my file from limbo.

I guess your status changed to "In process " sometime in May. So you should be getting the decision made status by this week or latest by next week. What I have seen is if you have an early PPR, then it takes a while for change in status from application received to in process. And max a week or two from in process to decision made. It will happen for you, just few more days.

I understand what you are going through..the first few months are always stressful and always thinking abt the same thing and then you get used to it.
Give it some more time, it has been close to a month for you guys after you sent the PP to ND.
Remember we never still know when they do the BC..so maybe they are running it for you guys.

Be a bit more patient and you will hear some good news..my personal advice, it is too early to send a CSE..use your CSE when you really need it cos Nylalisa once said that each CSE or when you try to contact them goes into your CAIPS and delays the process...why delay something which is not delayed yet.

Sending the PP to NewDelhi is like winning the race, once you have done that you should just wait for the presentation ceremony... ;D
my struggle was with not being able to send the PP for 5 months..and i just got used to it.

I got my Interview letter...

scheduled on 14/06/2011 at 10.30 am

Your sponsor must be available for a possible phone interview at the same time that ur interview is being held in new delhi.

If ur sponsor in india he/she should accompany u to the interview.

Not all sponsors will be contacted as it may not be necessary.

If sponsored by your husband/wife bring ur engagement and wedding photographs and wedding invitation cards, if available.

Also bring all evidence of communication with ur sponsor, eg. cards/letters, telephone bills. Telephone calling cards are not acceptable proof.

and some attachment of interpretation servces for languages and prices for those services.

ecas updates anyday, at anytime - not only on tuesdays

You are right. Thanks for the advice. A CSE at this point will unnecessarily delay the case and it might not achieve the intended purpose. So it's better to wait. I should not be very impatient as DNT2003 with same timelines still have not received PPR. I hope after May they will have more time to finalize our cases.
