Wondering if anyone else had a similar experience? We went a CSE but not sure when we will hear back from Delhi. Also, on Monday I will call the CIC in Canada and explain the details. In the mean time, am not sure whether I should cancel the ticket we had purchased for June 6, 2011.

cdngrl, My wife is in Kathmandu, Nepal. For Nepal, Delhi sends the mail to the Canadian Consulate in Kathmandu in bathces......they send mail only once a week and it arrives at the consulate every Tuesday evening.

Congrats Fprince. The fact that the case officer has approved it in principle is a positive sign. Also, things are moving forward now...should not be that much longer. I really hope you get your passport with a visa soon.

Hey Fprince, Do you recall how long Delhi took to respond to your CSE inquiry? Wondering what process is quicker, a CSE inquiy or a CAIPS request. Thnx bro.

I wonder what is taking so long :( I wish the process was a little bit more transparent. I really thought that my process was straightforward. It's frustrating when some people's case gets processed within 2.5 months and others takes up to 6-9 months........and some dont even get ppr for long...
