Crap, I did send a CSE earlier today but I didn't put URGENT on it. I attached his ppr letter to the CSE, not sure if that will help anything. I will try calling tonight as well.
I had a feeling that the letter would have the pertinent details, especially the time because it is not on ECAS, just the date.
I am having a bad week, sorry if I sound like I am complaining, just too many little things adding up. Thanks for listening.

Yes true, and I proudly can say that I am very happy to be part of this thread, we all get a long, we all support each other, we all advise each other, and a lot of other things.. and from time to time we joke too... and yes rant on ND! even though many people in other threads say ND is fast :S, but ask the applicant and the sponsor.. they will always complain about their own VISA OFFICE.

What dates are you using?

I just booked a 1-way ticket on Jet for around $1050 (early May) for my spouse. pretty expensive considering it's only one way. booked it through my travel agent.

AI is cheap but with their record of delays and unlicensed pilots, i don't think they deserve our money.

I checked skyscanner but most of the cheap flights have very long connection times. there are not many things that are more boring than killing time at an airport especially if alone and first time leaving the country!

I've been seening all the options as you know I work as a part time travel agent (NOT), just always keep my eyes open on the major ticketing websites and find good deals.. for example 724$ BA for you when you went to the site I mentioned to you.

So far the cheapest I've seen was $684 (AirI) and 708 (JetA), direct flight.

I have no problem her coming in any flight, but I want to accompany her all the way from India, plus better to see everyone back home before I start the life here, cuz you never know after how many months/years we will see our family friends in India. I really have no intentions of going to India for atleast 1 whole year minimum after I bring my wife here.

Just wanted to say Hi to everyone! Applied for spousal sponsorship March 25, 2011, and hoping to hear from the CIC sometime soon about getting approved as a sponsor and the file being forwarded to Delhi. The wait is driving me insane!!! (checking ecas 5 to 6 times a day/emails about 50 times a day)

Good News, We just received PPR today. Passport, PCC and Landing fee was requested. Letter was dated April 15, 2011. Received on April 27,2011. As Per postman the letter reached to him on April 23,2011, but he will too lazy...lol...feel like killing him.

any suggestion what postal service should be used to send the passport.
