finally my husband got visa!!!

i will put up the detail later!!

he got decision made on March.15th.
he had intervew yesterday April.18th,
and he got passport back on next day at the visa office in new delhi.

in our case, we are still young married couple( less than a year.and i am still 22. he is 24.) so i think that why he had interview.......

Congrats, i have not seen any post from you recently..so i thought you already got your visa and was busy.
We never even knew about the interview..
Can you let us know timeframes and why exactly do you think they called you in other than being young
Congrats again..one more November 2010 applicant gets visa... yeah

just a correction, and I do think the VO must have approved them and already put the visa on the PPT, just wanted to see him on the interview day to make sure...

It would be good to know all the details of the VISA, because decision was on March 15 and Interview on 18th PPT pickup on 19th according to the date below.

and she does say NEXT DAY AT THE VISA OFFICE IN NEW DELHI so I bet they've had everything ready for him even before his interview, and might have mistakenly ask for interview rather than sending the passport back with the VISA. and after the interview.. they must have said to him.. you may pick up your "ALREADY" stamped passport with VISA tomorrow.. its just we can't follow our procedure properly... so we made a mistake by scheduliing an interview for you rather than send you the passport...

or we wanted to save some hundred ruppeeees by not sending you through the register postttt.

I'm just speculating.. I would like to here from you ohohogirl.. and tell us what really happened...

yes first I see 'decision made' on ecas and then he got an interview letter after 3weeks(they send documents only once a week to nepal,so it takes time) .

but good thing is that the officer gave passport on next day at the visa office. i am glad i didn't have to wait for another three weeks.

thank you!! after the interview, the officer asked to come on next day to the same office to pick up the passport.

Totally agree with you, when we meet again after the wait, I know for sure our bond will be much deeper than it was when I left India.

This is a perfect case where the process is followed for the sake of following the process. I guess every VO has so performance metric as to how many cases were rejected, how many interviewed, etc. and VOs are trying to be within good range.

Well said, when they call you in for an interview after the decision is made..its just to file something saying we did our job and file it...

Happy for you..but the question which many are wondering here is " was ecas updated about the interview date"?
You say decision was made first, did you see anything in ecas about the interview line or was it just the letter which asked you to go to the interview?
