So back on Canadian soil and came home to find a weird update on Ecas.

I checked that thing yesterday and there was nothing, now, today and suddenly says under PR - "In Process" (which the info states that's when no decision has been taken).

Then when you click that they have added to lines:

-We started processing XXX XXX's application on March 30th, 2011
-Medical results have been received (this was there originally and then went missing in Jan)

I am worried now because they said they approved the visa after his interview yet now they are processing??? I don't think he will see the visa anytime soon now.

You know ecas is full of crap, he will get the visa this week..remember your good luck brought india the WC

Are you going to trust eCAS more than what an IO said to your husband in person after the interview??

eCAS should be meaningless for you now.

I'm sure your husband's visa is on its way!

Haha, I dont trust anything about this system, thats why we are all here. We look for people who have the same crap happening to them to make sure it is "normal" when it happends to us. I will only feel safe when that sticker is in my hand.

Can you tell what is the date on letter, when your application reached delhi and in which city do you live.

Letter is dated 30/3/2011 and reached (Hyderabad) on 02/04/2011 - hope that helps and wish every1 a speeeeeeeeeeeeedy process

I have sent my PP but now no news afterwards.....it seems like everything is stuck ......

Another weekend is going with any news......

70% chance of receiving the passport during these dates

earliest Apr 7,2011 - 50 days from sponsor approval
average Apr 26,2011 - 69 days from sponsor approval
latest May 17,2011 - 90 days from sponsor approval

30% chance after May 17,2011.


My timeable is about 1 week later then yours.

If things go smoothly and we have a good chance of that, we should

I know my wife will be happy. She has much less patience then me.

My ecas hasn't changed and I don't think it will. Still says application
recieved, but they have asked for additional documents so its clear
that they are working on it.

No change in ecas, no medicals line....no communication.
Has been 100 days since CIC Miss said file was transfered to ND...

they have not asked for additional documents from me.....i guess now they will either ask for interview or they will issue visa directly.

But wher is the delay....i cant understand....

Do they have too much work? I dont agree...we are in priority class

I don't think there will be an interview. Only 10% of the cases I tracked
went for an interview. They will most likely issue the visa in the next month.
What they are doing for the next month, I have no idea. But for some of
the security checks they are waiting for organizations outside of their control.

Sometimes they will send embassy staff to the cities and towns to investigate.
I know this happened to one person who was applying for a student visa.

It's at least a little comforting to know somone other than fprince and sid_dua is also in the same boat as me. The timeline and status of mewe is almost identical to mine. This wait and uncertainty is killing me.
