@ brin...

as i mentioned that i am tracking case for my sister.....

when her status changed to "Application Received"....there was also a line about "Medicals Receieved"....the line was removed from e-cas after couple of days

this happened to lot of ppl on this forum too....

Yup, that happened to me too.

good to hear that the medical recd line does not appear from the beginning... mine also says appln recd

My medical line was there for a month and a half and for the last 7 weeks it had vanished...no idea what it means..but just don trust ECAS completely

Frustrated at the wait and with no PPR in sight, I sent off a status enquiry email to ND today. Once I submitted, the system basically stated ND will respond to my enquiry within 28 working days if they feel like responding...if they don't feel like it, they may not even respond.

Anyone done this before, know if they will in fact respond and how soon?

Yes, and they got back in 2 weeks. I emailed them after 3 months of file in delhi and no PPR.
To be honest with you they reply when there is a big gap..in your case the file has been in delhi for 5 weeks so you might get a standard reply back, but no one can predict the way the work.
All the best.

fprince Thanks, I just hope they provide some sort of an update. In fact, I'd rather get a PPR from them instead of a reply, but who knows what ND does.

Yes you will..be patient as emailing will not speed the process by any means. I emailed them to just find my file number and they finally sent my file #
You will get your PPR very soon :-) stay strong buddy..usually people get it in within a month so you should be next.

Does what you see in e-CAS vary if you lookup by the Sponsor's Client ID vs. the File Number? I've been looking up e-CAS by my Client ID so far as my wife hasn't got the PPR yet, so no File Number.

I'm just wondering if there are updates I'm not seeing because I'm not logging in using the File Number but using my Client ID instead?
