She is gonna call friday...well, i have no hopes will let you know...
Usually most ppl in this thread have had their PPR within 3 weeks, 99% chances are my file is sitting somewhere in ND and no one has seen it yet..if not they would have sent something by now..

if i can recall...u mentioned that ur status says on e-cas says as "in process"


they maybe working with ur file and probably sent u a ppr which might have lost in the mail (i just dont want to scare u....but it could have been possible....u know how the "india post" is in india)


also, what i have seen so far is that ppl who already got their ppr letters have their status on e-cas as "application received"...so may be in this scenario...chc nd is asking for the pp first and then reveiwing the file later...



the other thing i suggest u is that y dont u contact ur MP? they may get the info quicky from chc nd than u....so i would suggest is that....today is thursday here and if u get a chance to talk to ur MP...talk to them and may be within a week u can get answer from chc....this will also give an ease and peace of mind and u will not be too much worried...

I always have suspected that the PPR was lost, i was expecting the PPR in Jan..i am still hoping they will call back..
I live in toronto and do not know any MP..can this be done over the phone, email etc..
can you please let me know if you know any info..

talk to ur mp of ur area...and they will do it.......................it might be because of loss of postal mail....now a days .....there is lot of incidence of mail loss in india..so just check with ur mp..it will be faster....hope everything will be done soon................

since u live in toronto area....check which "zone/ward" u r in or go to:
http://app.toronto.ca/wards/jsp/wards.jsp website....

just enter ur info and it will tell u which zone/ward u r in....u can then try the MP of ur zone and exaplin them the situation...


i would suggest that u go in person and talk to them....calling them/emailing them will not help....


if u wait for chc new delhi to issue u another ppr (assuming the first one is lost in email)....it might b too late...


ur MP can send the request and find out the info on ur behalf....


also, quick question....have u ordered CAIPS already? cuz it can also tell u where the file is and what is the status?

like coolananda said..talk to ur MP(who represents ur area)...contacting the MP in ur area is very easy...either call the local office or just walk in there...it's usually a small officed and very accessible!!! and I believe they will make an enquiry on your behalf!

u can choose ur ward/zone by entering the location/street name....


i would suggest that u order ur CAIPS ASAP and see what is going with the file....

yes....if u live in that area....contact the MP....if it is not the right MP....the secretary will be able to help u on this....

Yeah..ECAS changed last night to 'Decision Made' Letter sent on Mar 21. I wasn't too excited to see it cause I already knew this when I called the CIC Call cntr on Monday. But..yeah...so far so good...so keeping my fingers crossd!!!
