@ fprince

Thank you!!

I wish for your PPR too.....

My file number starts with "F"....don't know if it is good or bad...........lets see how it goes in the next waiting steps

Can you share the contents of your PPR? what did they send? did they say anything abt deadline and interview waived.

@mewe

I wish for you too!!

@fprince

its standard letter as for other applicants.

they said they have received my application on 28th Feb 2011 and they have created file number for me which is mentioned in this letter.

Then they ask for
1. Passports . all new and old
2. RPRF payment if not already paid.
3. Police certificate if not submitted earlier.

Nothing mentioned about deadline...nothing about interview

Congrats! Please let me know when E-CAS changes to "In process"..Thanks..V

Well well... It came out that the immigration representative we used was responsible for all this. She told us that our papers had reached on 14th and gave us somebody else's courier tracking number. But actually she mailed our application late. Our application reached there on 9th of March. My wife went to her yesterday to take the receipt of the courier from her so that we can fax it to CIC requesting them to look into our supposedly lost application. And then she first of all tried not to give her the receipt and when my wife insisted she told her the truth. And before anyone will wonder, here comes the harsh truth- our immigration representative herself is an Indian. After my wife completed all the papers and paid her the fees on 5ht of February, she told her that she will mail the papers tomorrow. But instead our papers were mailed on 4th of March. All along whenever my wife called them to ask if they had sent the papers she always replied that yes they have reached on 14th and even gave us the wrong tracking number.

Now, we will have to cancel the investigation request that we had raised with CIC and I wonder how much investigation they are gonna do after the false alarm that we people raised. This has made us more worried. It is so sad to know how some of the scrupulous Indians are cheating other Indians even in Canada.

@ waiting4it....

good news is that u found the papers...that's all u should be happy with :)

now...the waiting is on

@ fprince....

they dont mention about the interview waived info in the ppr letter... it all depends up on the VO/IO...

it seems like that now a days...chc nd is asking for pp first and then reviewing the file after....cuz most of the ppl now here got the pp request with in 2 weeks and their status still says "application received"

chc nd doesnt give any timeline in their ppr letters now....i remember couple of years ago...they use to give 90 days notice to send the pp...but seems like a lot has a changed now....
