Is there anyone who skipped the "In process" step? because I asked this before too but didnt find anyone! anyways..we'll see Reception 'll be in Ottawa. I'll start talking to restaurants once my wife gets the visa. Where are you in Canada sank? Cheers

Thanks for the Invite man...It is quite possible.. Its not just 2 days.. It is from the day the application was received.. Most off them skip the "in process" step..You will get it this weekend.. keep ur fingers crossed... and where is the reception??

Vishhhhh.....In London ontario... I think Panda skipped "in process"... anyways.. it is possible... have a friend who did that..

weekend is just there.. lets hope for a lotta updates in a day or 2..

Vish, mine still says app received so most likely it will skipp the "in process" and go straight decision made following the interview.

Did you sort that transit visa out? i am not sure if you really need a transit visa unless you leave the airport or have to stay inside the airport for # number of hours, each country has a different rule..hope things work for you smoothly

I got my passport back with visa today...very very happy moment..... ..
It was dated March 9, 2011 and was posted on March 10..and I received today, ie 18th march, 2011 through registered mail, and I am residing at pondicherry, a UT next to chennai...

My status changed from "Not availabe" to " application received on Jan 25, 2011 and from "App..received to in process on Feb 23, 2011"...and then from " in process to decision made on March 11, 2011"...and about the timelines on additional docs, i have mentioned that in my signature..

thanks for the info. Did your status change from "In process" to "Decision made" or from "App received" to "Decision made"? Also, when did your status change from "App received" to "In process"? Was it after you sent additional docs? If so, how many days after you sent additional docs your status changed from "App received" to "In process" and how many days it took from "In process" to "Decison made"? Sorry for asking so many questions...I appreciate your help....Thanks
