Hi Nylalisa;

I was just talking the last week about Interview update on ECAS and there you are ,Just don't worry it's just an interview. I am not shocked that you got an interview, our one of the relatives had a second marriage and she also got an interview at delhi, you guys just have to prove that the relationship is genuine thats it.

But the wierd thing that I cant understand is why the ECAS is still saying Application received and how come its not IN PROCESS ? and they are still updating the ECAS for Interview, from the things it look that they are updating ECAS consistently now, depending on how Visa Officer is handling the case.

Thanks, I will keep you all posted. I definetely don't expect to hear anything before then now. I will be available by phone for sure. I am in law school and thats 1 week before finals start, so I need to be at my final classes. Hopefully they understand, otherwise I would be on a plane and be with him.

Don't worry, i hope things are fine for you..i read somewhere that u will be on the phone when the interview happens and someone had posted a long list of questions...but i did hear members saying that they only ask stuff from your file..i am with you on this..ND does things which we can't even imagine.. i will try to get any informormation i have read here..be strong, it will all be good..its f u c k in pathetic that they dont even send u a letter but update status on ecas after getting ur passport....it will all be good..i will pray for u

When it comes to VO they can ask you anything not just from the file. I remmeber one of my far relative she was sponsoring her husband, their file was trsf to U.K, basicallly the guy changed his religion and he got 2 visit visa to Canada rejected or so and thus he got an interview coz of dat i believe. He was asked things like: what subjects ur wife is taking, when is her day offs from university, whats her best friends name, what is the name of her university professors, how many times do you pray, how many times does muslim pray and so on..........i mean come on why would her husband wants to know the name of the university professor.......screw these ppl arghh... !!

Thanks for all the support guys, I will let you know how it goes at the end of the month and give youa detailed report then, to help out any future interviewees. I am not worried, we have started a few weeks back going over questions that I found on this forum and other places. I just had this feeling it would happen. So not being caught of guard. And I am completely confident he will do well. We have nothing to hide and litterally I have prep him for everything I think including friends and coworkers names. And I will do professors just in case but considering I go to a french school he will have a harder time remembering names. And I think it would be just stupid if they asked him names of my professors.. completely irrelevant. My mom doesn't even knwo the names, so they gonna question whether my relationship with her is genuine too

It appears from this thread that between March and August last year they went crazy putting out visa. I dontknow why but they probably leave the first few months kinda dead, then put alot out then start to slow down again by the end of the year as they approach their own targets. What I would love to know is, month by month last year, how many visa they do give. I would ATIP it if my file and fate wasnt under their control.

I have no idea why we have not received PPR yet..no i have not contacted MP yet...we probably have to wait for 6 months...this immigration system sucks...its so frustrating for me and my wife...people with fake marriages get their visa in 3 months...and people like us have to suffer...If we dont hear anything for another month , I will move down to India..people in delhi are bastards there is no fix visa issued system..its on random basis.seriously this wait is killing me...cannot afford to wait .

I totally agree with u. It sucks totally. am also equally frustrated. Its been more than 6months since we filled. Did u do CSQ? U can try doing that.. or u can def ask MP. U can tel them u dint even receive PPR. they shud ask the status for u,

I am not a canadian citizen..so I dont think MP would able to help me out..

No Sid, even my husband is a PR n not a citizen. MP helped us out to get the sttaus. U can def try that. U did CSQ? whats delhi replying to that??

they replied me with all bullshit..As per them I have to wait for 6 months to get a response..even my wife went to embassy and she was told she has to wait for 6 months to receive any feedback.

oh.. this is really horrible. Cant they tell the applicant the current status atleast when we go and meet embassy? Btw can we actually go and ask embassy directly even if we use representative?? Is it ur 1st time appln or any appeal case? I rem, 4destiny's was an appeal one and he said they l ask for the ppt oly when they r ready to stamp the visa.. All other cases, they ask for the ppt in an early stage. Dont worry Sid. I can totally understand ur pain. Ul get ur visa very fast

Yaa you can try going to embassy...I am pretty sure you will get some feedback...make sure go there between monday to thursday with your passport>>l My wife went there and she was told if its more than 6 months then only they can tell why it has been getting delayed.. And I will call MP tomarrow
