Hello all - I am new here and was looking for a few answers. We are sponsoring a dependent child and we have already received approval for sponsorship in July 2010. The file for our child was received in New Delhi toward the end of December 2010 and as off today, it is still in the queue.

I realize the queue can be lengthy depending on applications received, but is it typical for the file to be in the queue for 2 months?

Seeing that this is a dependent child application, I don't beleive they will request an interview. Given that, does anyone know how long (on average) it would take to receive the PR?

Did they ask for the ppt during december? Why did they take so long to process the file, if the sponsorship is approved on July itself? Can u pls add ur timelime.

How should we send PP to ND guys?

Hey, that is super fast..you sent your app in Jan and you already got your PPR...that's awesum. Use BlueDart and have a tracking number...all the best

Hey bro..congrats..she did not get any letter from ND yet...
can you tell me what the letter reads as> what do they ask and if they mention anything abt interview and is your status still "in process"

Congrats buddy...nothing for me yet..so ND is sending PPR's to applicants ...i always seem to miss their good luck :-(
Can you also share the contents of your letter , status in ECAS and abt interview..
So in your case they sent the PPR when your status was still " application received"...

Fprince, am sure they ve sent for u also.. May be, cos of ur location.. the letter hasnt reached yet.. may be, its far from delhi compared to others who got today.

hmm It takes more than a week then for sure .. so just hang on am sure its in transit. ur wife will receive it by this week for sure

Its standard Letter asking about Fee if not paid , PCC if not submitted and passports new and old. Nothing mention about interview and due date..at the end about processing time..no guarantee we issue visa before processing time..

My status is IN PROCESS. It took 10 days for me to reach .
