What does "no biodata on the back of photo id" mean? Makes no sense.

YES, YES YES YES YES YES YES....
GOT A CALL FROM CIC-ND TO COME A PICK UP THE PASSPORT. THIS IS BECAUSE MY MEDICALS WERE EXPIRING IN 2 WEEKS (YES I HAD GIVEN THEM IN AUG 2011)
the agent asked if could land in Canada before they expire, then they will process and to come and pick up the passport personally from New Delhi. Going tomorrow to pick it up.
My ecas status never showed in process and is still showing application received. will update once get the passport in hand and see the visa.

When did you apply for the notes? How come your dates for sponsor return didnt match when you left for canada? Did you just made a small mistake? I wonder how they even figured that out lol

the thing abt lack of biodata information for the id... well we didnt even bother attaching any id lol it was not mentioned or needed or required in the check list.. as long you submit the passport,birth certificate and the marriage certificate. The national Identity number field in the form, we just said N/A

either way its not too bad good that you got the notes in time! good luck!

Ashunandal - we contacted our MP n got a reply that our application is for final review.


Lalatata - do you have any idea how much time does ND take for final review?

Final review happens at the program level in CIC ( more like VP/executive level) review and approval. This happens after an immigration officer has reviewed your case, file, application,fees, proofs, medical,eligibility, criminality,background check -> all of them are a pass and the officer during his initial review which the FEb 13th applicant is waiting for right now has been Completed for you and the immigration officer has made the recommendation to give you he visa.

The Final review person (program level guy) makes the final stamp and approval for the issuance of the visa on the passport

In short, Its about time for you to get the VISA. MP inquiry would have made it more visible to the program level person and there is nothing for you to worry. Now how long the program level person takes that is upto them! but in essence you should start packing and planning the trip to canada as you will get the passport with the visa soon! and there is nothing they need from you!

got GCMS notes
officer wrote summary of our relationship from first day until marriage and said the couple appears compatible in age, education, marital status and language.
reasons given for interview are -
- TRV rejection before applied for spousal sponsorship
- sponsor didnt return to Canada at date given in forms
-VO not indicated on the medical report
-No biodata on the back of photo-id
it looks ok, i think i should not worry
some suggestions please

Would you be able to put the notes , take out the personal information and share with us.. Just wanted to see how they look. I requested mine yesterday.

For a Feb 13th applicant, they have come back to the mp saying the file is waiting for a review..so i suspect either the same for u and rest of us in between OR your case should have made a progress and done with the initial review and should be in the final review stage..

lets see what your mp comes back with. Did you apply for Notes?

yesterday i sent the mail to MPP of Brampton i.e/ Vik dhillon But after some time i got reply from him that he can not give any information regarding this as he is a province representative and he send me the detail of local MP who is seeback kyle & then i have sent him that mail ,now see what he will reply :'(
