Yeah !!!!! My wife is waiting at the doorstep with packed bags !!! She is all set to leave, the moment passport arrives..

You should be getting your PPR anytime from now !!! Ours took one month after Sponsorship approval/ file transfer.

actually that happened with our family class application when my bro sponsored us ( my parents and me) 8 years back. We sent our passports along with PCC even before receiving PPR. It was not deliberate attempt though..
Surprisingly we received it back with Visa within 1 month !!!!

@Shamsia - in ur timeline it says u got the PPR by letter in September & by phone in November.
u didnt receive the letter etc ?
i ask this cos if they started processing in Sept, thats 4 months to visa issuance & if in Nov then its 2 months for visa issuance.
the 4 months is kinda scary. My wife gonna go bonkers

Does anybody know how to get in touch with your local MP regarding contacting the ND office ?

I am 15 days short of 6 months at ND office. We filed app in June 8 2011.

No doc Req/No foreign travel.

Now we are slowly getting too worried.

Did you try to make a "CSE" at CHC ND web site ? If not, try to do it first !!

You can find your local MP from this web site.

If your case is straight forward, you might hear some good news this month. They do try to solve things within 6 months if they can.

No, its not common law app but marriage.
Even I am not sure why such delay. We both are from same caste, province.. I was 28 and she was 26. Education wise we are alike.
We had a normal engagement ceremony, marriage ceremony, reception and we had our honeymoon. Only difference, i can think of was that it wasnt a love marriage to start of with. Our parents searched each other through matrimony websites. We started talking over chat for more than 2 months before we met. All is well documented with even photos when we first met after 2 months. A typical indian marriage that started of with matrimony websites such as bharamatrimony.com, jeevansathi.com. All proofs, profiles were included. I initially thought i will not write about this. But after deliberation I thought its best to put in facts. I thought the embassy ppl will know 50% of indian marriages happen this way. This could be our downfall.
Not sure what else could be. They should have asked for an interview if they had problems. Or at least ask for more documents.

By the way its "In Process" since Oct 18th

Yours seems to be a pretty straight forward case. Try to email them through CSE in order to know the status.

Hello... I have been a passive member of this forum for 3 months now.. You guys are really really helpful!
I need some advice.. My timeline started on July 14th when application was received in Canada.. File was sent to Delhi end of September..
PPR request letter on Nov 14th..
My concern is since then my ecas update still says application received, meds received..
I believe my 6 month overall timeline got over yesterday...
Please guide me.. Just relax and wait or should I call/ mail on update?
