i am waiting for my approvel first.but i m already in canada with my wife.i m waiting for ppr after approvel then i will come back to new delhi.i applied as outland application.i m on workpermit.

Ajay dude, let us know when when she gets her passport back. One of my friends got her passport back in 2 weeks. i know thats not the usual time frame but i do hope the time frame comes back. My file got transferred to ND one week after yours did. Im hoping to get the PPR soon.

I really hope that happens in my case too. One problem that we have is we got married in May of 2011 at which time I was in the US (on H1B) and my wife joined me 3 months later securing a dependent H4 visa. We lived together for 10 months before my company transferred me back to Canada and wife left for India. So, my wife lived in the US for more than 6 months and I don't know how much Background Check will be done for her stay in the US. Anyways, good luck to you and I'm pretty sure you will get your PPR next week.

In between, our address also vanished and came back on Jan 5, 2012; the same day we received PPR email.

Hello everyone,
I don't want to bring back the topic of address vanishing and coming back without updates but our address vanished too and we got our PPR the same day our address came back. Ecas didn't show any change though. Maybe they are updating the status and everyone will hear something from them shortly (hopefully good news).

I am worried my status still doesn't say "in process" yet. Its been more than 2 months they have our PP.

They sent the ppr on Nov 20 and they have my wife's pp ever since. The status is still "Application received". It is soo weird the way they work. Adding to that are the holidays..lol. All I can say is I am learning to increase my patience level w/o going to meditation class..lol

Don't worry man. You will get PPR very soon. TRV would have only make your life complicated with another PPR.

Dun worry man!!! I believe You also knew that!!!

the reason - "immigration status" is funny..they know that a person is going to immigrate legally with spousal sponsorship then why would someone stay illegally on TRV for getting no benefits/no work.

I had to apply to keep the surrounding people in India to stop thinking and talking differently.
Because it is now 10 months since we married.

Any time I call anybody ..."Ji Namaste..."
" Namaste Namaste, Kab lekhe jaarahao?...?

That is the first sentence I hear
My mother in law says "Babu..we have so much farm land and my brother is a buffalo trader..can get you a couple of buffloes why dont you come?"..

It's really sad. I don't understand why they deny trv. On one hand they talk about promoting tourism in Canada. They must have some strong reasons. I sometimes feel that to an extent, we are responsible for it. There has been so many frauds and recently a guy committed suicide in B.C when his newly wedded bride left him for her boyfriend. There was a time when spouse visas were given within one week. Because of these frauds, every application is seen with suspicion. But i think in your case, your spouse visa must be on the way. I can understand the frustration that grows within you everyday. Your life seems to halt. I really wish all genuine cases are processed quickly.

I am also able to login to ecas today. I was wondering if anybody else has noticed the word "null" added in front of the name. Does it mean anything??
