Hello good people,
I was surprise to get a refusal email from avo today instead of ppr and given option to appeal.
I ll start my appeal proceedings Thursday bcos reason the office gave don't make sense to me, saying my relationship and marriage not genuine, can you imagine, almost 14 months.
I will update u as we progress in the appeal.
thank you all
Wow wow wow Omg I'm very sorry Samola.. Its a bad news ,but be courageous and strong ..if possible consult your mp or immigration lawyer to know if what is best is to appeal or reapply.. Also check your gcms note well as Gahofa said ,to know the reasons and redflag they used and refused you..I'm feeling very bitter now ,I'm so sorry

So sorry to hear this. Dont loose hope and like everyone here has said, take time to analyse ur application to see what u got wrong and make corrections b4 appealing.

Don't rush it to avoid same result and much more delays. Just know it shall only take time but at the end u shall prevail. Stay strong always.

All the best to all of us

Sorry to hear about that. Don’t give up this people when they don’t have what to say that is the word they use your relationship is not genuine or marriage. I have seen few people who got refusal letter last year and they got a lawyer and he fixed everything for them. Now they are in progress

Please is it family sponsorships you apply since 2014 or something else?
Or do they refused it and you apply again?
Please I really want to understand
Yes I applied family sponsorship. When I fast applied I was in Nigeria so I moved to Uganda and I transferred my file to another visa office. Which is Dar es Salaam visa office before it was Accra visa office that is why it took so long for me.

Good day house,i received an email from accra ghana on the 14th dec 2016 requesting for medicals, rprf, pcc, ppr all at once,i sent all today, how long will it take to get my passport back.

Hi Yettymama, have you heard anything from AVO like a pick up email since? And the rest of members who got ppr in December has anyone got a pickup email?

Hi, everyone,
We are February 2016 applicants.
My husband had an interview in Accra today. After the interview the passport was returned and the officer advised we will be contacted later. Does this mean it is a refuse and how long it will take to get a reply from them?
Thank you

were you asked to bring your passport? If they return the passport to him then it's not a good sign I think. Normally from what I read they collect the passport rather.

Yes, they requested passport and additional documents to bring to interview, but returned only the passport at the end of interview and advised him to return to Nigeria to wait for the decision.

Such sad news to hear in the new year. Sorry Samola.....and any others.
Let's pray for a good outcome, never give up!!
Don't give up hope.

It's heart breaking to see visa office making things very complicated for people but the truth is that be strong and start people for the appeal if the send you a refusal letter. Usually in most cases they issue the visa 2 hours after the interview especially since he has travelled all the way from Nigeria which they know cost money. But never say never, maybe there is something the need time to verify therefore I think you will here from them any where from 1 to 6 weeks. Good luck

Hello my online family,
i know things have not been moving on well in the house recently including my wife's application who is an April 3 applicant. I received my gcms notes and it says " She is a citizen of Cameroon and so it has been sent to the correct office (Dakar) for further processing". This was transferred on the 30th of November and Dakar confirmed receipt on the 1st of December 2016.

Has anyone ever been in the same situation before where application was being transferred from one office to another? Do you also think the new visa office will still have to go through all this processing and wait time which was done in Accra. How long do you think my wife will have to wait before she hears from Dakar? Lots of questions on my mind and so please house i need ideas especially if you know someone who had been in my wife's situation.
Thanks

The accra visa office is faster then the Dakar. My friend sponsored his wife from Cameroon which took him 15 months but I don't really know if they will start the processing from the beginning or continued were accra left.
