I applied 2014 August and they ask as more proof on May 2016 and we submitted that again they ask us to do re-medicinal and police clearance since the previous was expired.

Please is it family sponsorships you apply since 2014 or something else?
Or do they refused it and you apply again?
Please I really want to understand

I was surprise to get a refusal email from avo today instead of ppr and given option to appeal.
I ll start my appeal proceedings Thursday bcos reason the office gave don't make sense to me, saying my relationship and marriage not genuine, can you imagine, almost 14 months.
I will update u as we progress in the appeal.

not at all, we have been relationship now 10 years and we are still strong together, so why vo ll now say we are not genuine.
this is the biase they have for we Africans or Nigerian.

Don't lose hope, and try to reapply.

So sorry to hear that. But normally it takes years for the appeal process to go through. Try requesting for GSM notes and try to correct any red flags if any incase u decide to re apply. Just my opinion

So sorry to hear this, Samola, but in my opinion too I support what Elohim said, read your gcms notes well and analyse it well with the refusal letter, the reason they stated before appealing. If they are some red flags in your application or not strong evidence maybe the appeal could waste time and nothing good. If there are some parts maybe contains some mistakes initially it will be better you reorganize your information well and get more new evidence, like getting married if you applied as a common law and having your wedding, honeymoon and outings with photos and reapplying. That is just my opinion though. Other experienced people may also add what they think. Be strong bro it will be over one day.

So sorry to hear this, Samola, but in my opinion too I support what Elohim said, read your gcms notes well and analyse it well with the refusal letter, the reason they stated before appealing. Sorry to hear about this terrible news and I know how you feel but just be strong. Whenever an application is refused based on relationship not genuine the only option is to appeal that decision. Even if you reapply they will refuse on the same ground. Hence order your note and start the process. Good luck
