Can someone help me with the link to apply
for Nigeria visa from Canada and the
cost...I'm inviting my partner next month.. I
checked online but I'm confused as there are
too many sites and I'm confused which one is
the legit site..she will be applying from
Ontario.

Requirements for Visa to Nigeria
Please Read the requirements
carefully, comply with the underlisted
and additional other applicable
requirements of which your are
applying for:
*The Nigeria High Commission Ottawa,
Canada, wishes to inform the public
that it has not appointed any agent(s)
to carry out transactions with
applicants for Nigerian visas on its
behalf.
All applicants for Nigerian visas are
strongly advised to always complete
Entry Visa Application. Re-entry
Application is not applicable to abroad
applicant s and to deal directly with
the Nigeria High Commission by
completing the online visa application
processes and also mailing the
necessary documents to its official
address at: 295 Metcalfe Street,
Ottawa, Ontario, K2P 1R9.
Visa processing fees are non-
refundable once paid, whether or not
visa is granted or withdrawn. The High
Commission reserves the exclusive
right to grant or reject visas. Ensure to
print out the following online
applications; Confirmed Payment and
Visa Acknowledgment Slip; failure to
comply will result in your passport
been returned without visa.***

Visa Application Procedure
Click Visa Drop down arrow;
Click applicable type of Visa and
read the Requirements carefully;
Click http://
portal.immigration.gov.ng ;
Under Visa, Click Entry Visa
Application Form;
Complete online application and
pay on-line with Credit Card.
Print out comfirmation of payment
and acknowledgment slips
- Go to http://
portal.immigration.gov.ng .
- Scroll down-Under Application Status,
- Click Application Payment Status:
- Select Visa at drop down;
- Enter I.D. & Reference numbers and
click search record;
- Scroll down to print both receipt and
acknowledgement at the bottom page
if payment is ok, if not proceed to on-
line payment.

All applicants must strictly comply
with the applicable requirements
otherwise the passport will be returned
without visa. In this case,an
applicate may have to re-submit
application with another
processing fee.
1. Original Passport should be valid
for at least 6 months; Visas are to
be affixed to valid passports;
2. One recent coloured passport size
photograph 2 inch x 2 inch with at
most 3 months validity (White
Background) and ensure to write
name at the back with stamped
date;
3. Non-Canadian Passport holders
must attach photocopies of their
immigration status in Canada,
showing their Residence
(Permanent Residence Card) or
Work Permit;
4. Canadian citizens holding other
national passport are required to
apply with Canadian passports
only;
5. Holders of Dual Nationality e.g.
Canadian/Nigerian should have
either a valid Nigeria passport or a
signed invitation letter from a
Nigerian accompanied by
photocopy of the data page of valid
Nigerian international passport to
confirm/ authenticate genuine and
effective link or relationship.
Visa processing fees are non-
refundable once paid, whether or
not visa is granted or withdrawn.
The High Commission reserves the
exclusive right to grant or reject
visas. Ensure to print out the

be Signed
7. Confirmed Payment
8. Visa Acknowledgment Slip
9. Failure to comply will result in your
passport been returned without
visa.***
10. Apart from the online payment, a
non-refundable processing fee of
fifty Canadian dollars ($50) in
Money Order payable to the Nigeria
High Commission Ottawa for
regular service for minimum
processing period of fifteen (15)
working days.
11. Apart from the online payment,
non-refundable processing fee of
one hundred and fifteen Canadian
dollars ($115.00) Money Order
payable to the Nigeria High
Commission Ottawa for expedite
service for minimum processing
period of seven (7) working days.
12. Please ensure to send Original
Money Order with Purchaser’s/
Customer’s/Money Order Receipt;
13. A self-addressed return CANADA
Post PRIORITY OR XPRESSPOST
ENVELOPE ONLY. Please, note that
no other courier service is
acceptable and the High
Commission does not address
envelope on behalf of applicants.
14. Drop Off time is Tuesday to Friday
between the hours of 9:00am and
1:00 pm;

no matter how urgent ur email to Nigeria high commission Ottawa sounds you ll not get an acknowledgement not to talk about reply, which is why i put up all the write up for you to go through it.
I have done it many times nd no reply till i start to call that was since 2009 when my wife want visit me here in nigeria.

There is no set time for AVO to contact you to redo medical. Sometimes they will extend your medical and ask give you a limited time to land. Medical is typically valid for a year. When did you apply and when is your medical expiring?

Congratulations !!!

For the 3 airlines you mentioned, you do not need a transit visa as long as they are not transiting the USA.

As for cost, it depends on the date you plan to travel. You will have to visit the individual site for connections and cost.

Also you can try Lufthansa too.
