Yesteryday, we replied to their email with an explanation as to what happened and also informed them that we are going to send a hardcopy of the explanation and also all the requested documentations today. We also plan on faxing a copy of the explanation letter aswell. Least i forget, there is a place they wrote updated family information imm8, whats imm8? I guess its the generic form imm008 am i correct?

They send it to the PA. Pokie I believe is the sponsor and is only sharing the experience of the spouse, the PA. Note the mail was sent to the spouse, not Spokie.

They send it to the PA. Pokie I believe is the sponsor and is only sharing the experience of the spouse, the PA. Note the mail was sent to the spouse, not Spokie.

Another issue now is that he went to DHL and was told they dont do prepaid envelop. DHL said that what they do is after sending the passport and the documents to ghana, then when the visa is issued on the passport, they will send the applicant email stating that the passport is ready for pockup from ghana. Then the applicant will go to DHL and pay for DHL to go to ghana and pickup the passport to deliver to the applicant. Is that how its done and also if yes, what info would DHL require to pickup the passport from ghana?

Yes. This how DHL operates in Nigeria. Once you receive an email from AVO that your package is ready, you will go back to DHL with a copy of the email.

I was told the same thing, the day I was sending my documents to AVO, DHL refused to accept the money for the prepaid, that i should come with the pick up mail.
however, FYI prepaid is more expensive is about #28k according to them, please house verify this.

Hubby finally sent his passport and was told it would be delivered btw tomorrow, which is thursday 2nd and friday 3rd. I dont knw how fast VO would be, inorder for him to get back his passport and leave the country before the 18th which is the day his medicals expires. Does anyone know?

I don't know for sure but AVO in some circumstance extended the medical to give the applicant some grace period. Fingers crossed
