That's very close. I am sure you will hear from them before this week runs out. You will have to arrive Canada before the Medicals expires.

How did you determine the date your Medicals expired? Gcms notes or the day you initially had it done..if it's the day you initially had it done then you have about 5-7 days after the 13th. AVO actually record when they received the medical and not when it was initially done

AVO SPECIFICALLY TOLD ME ON THEIR MESSAGE THAT MY MEDICAL EXPIRES ON MARCH,13TH. THOUGHI DID MY MEDICAL ON MARCH 12TH,1015. THEY HAD EMAILED ME EARLIER TO CONFIRM IF I CAN TRAVEL BEFORE MARCH 13TH, AND I AGREED.

Ok, meaning they received it the next day. Ours was about 7 days after it was done. I don't think you should worry too much. Please shop for tickets as they are going to be on the high side the closer you get to the time. April is about 2900$ one way while to and fro is about $2000 when I checked yesterday

I sincerely pray you hear from them latest Friday.

You can certainly try, just beware that chances of approval is very slim. You spouse needs to show strong ties to in her/his home country. Your wife's travel history, employment, finances etc play a role.

It's not adviseable to send important docs to Accra by ordinary post as you can't be sure if it was delivered are or not. Typically, AVO will not acknowledge that they have recievied your docs. You could send them a case specific enquiry though.

Hi all, ticket prices are very high so please shop around. On another note does anyone know how long it takes for the office to return the passports via dhl ?

Please is there a contact number for Accra VO?

You could certainly contact the IOM office in Accra, they have one way ticket deals for PRs to Canada and US.

I bought my ticket from them when I moved to Canada.

Yeah, it's advantageous to do upfront Medical. But I've not heard from AVO to pick up my passport since they received it on Feb.12th. The validity date is fast closer
