Congratulations to you and your husband @ Lamour. This divine intervention is definitely the Lord's doing and it is marvellous in our sights. Indeed, it is a great Good News.
Regarding the police report, please advise your husband to go for a new one, I guess AVO need most recent police clearance to update your file.
My wife received her PPR last week too (to God be the glory and honor); police certificate was part of the documents visa office requested for, although we submitted one with our initial application filed a year ago. The police certificate she did few days ago at Lagos was completed same day, although she went to the Police Headquarters very early.
I have to say that I'm always fascinated with your level of calmness, I don't know how you do it. Here is what I learnt from you; you went through challenging situation, you stayed positive, you helped others and motivate with possibilities.....what a special grace. God bless you sister.
May be my wife and I can pay your family a visit one of these day at your end........lol. BIG Congratulation to you and your husband again.
Big big congratulations to you too. I am happy for you.
We have all been going through this together and all thanks to God almighty for all of us. Thank you for your definition of me. Lol.
You are most welcome to visit us. Pleasure is all ours....

My husband went for the police report today and he was told it will be out in 2 weeks. Can you imagine??????we are terribly pained by this. 28k for fast track and it's 2weeks????we have 15 days for crying out loud. This is painful.

Hello colleagues,
can anyone who knows please tell me if there
any changes in how u contact CIC from
overseas...
I called on this number 1 613 944 4000 and I
got through after 12 minutes wait time, I want
inquire about the status of my family
sponsorship application after 103 days after
submission, the agent telling me I have no
right as principal applicant to request any
information. That only sponsor or a
representative allowed to request information..
any idea please,
thank you

Lamour, in Lagos, u should get it within a day , even for lesser price. I got mine that same day at Alagbon.
If need be, I can give u a contact of a person over there

Hello all,
new to the site and I first want to thank all applicants that are sharing their experiences
It is very helpful

And they are right. Representatives sometimes prolong the process as they act as intermediary. I am not sure what the issue with your sponsor is, perhaps you want to order CAIPS notes, that might shed some light on CIC concerns with regards to your sponsor. Or wait - until you hear from them (I know that is not going to happen as you will be posting again soon :) )
Is there any issue with your sponsor that you know of.

Thanks a lot @kingdomheir. He did it already earlier this morning nigeria time. That's the only thing we are waiting for to send in the passport. We'll call them every day until we have it because it's just ridiculous.

I extend a warm welcome to you. Please share your time line with us and don't forget to update it on the left hand side as soon as you hit 10 post. Like this it's easier to compare our timelines and don't have to ask you again and again if you know what I mean.
Welcome to the thread.

You're welcome Lamour, it will be okay and all will end in praise.

Am a bit worried myself, my passport got to AVO on February 12th, I got msg from AVO that the validity date of my visa has been established in line with my medical expiration date, which is March 13th but I have not gotten email from them to pick up my passport and the expiration date is getting closer.

That's very close. I am sure you will hear from them before this week runs out. You will have to arrive Canada before the Medicals expires.

How did you determine the date your Medicals expired? Gcms notes or the day you initially had it done..if it's the day you initially had it done then you have about 5-7 days after the 13th. AVO actually record when they received the medical and not when it was initially done
