To the Glory of God, we got PPR today Feb 3. We are so excited!!!!

In the mean time, my last day at work is next Friday, lol. And I already bought my ticket for Lagos for after that. ;D ;D ;

We have decided to go with VFS for passport transmission.

Ghanaboy2,ur application was not family sponsorship so ur case might be different. And l rebuked 3yrs processing time in Jesus name that is not our portion in this forum.Family are meant to be together.

@ Ardnacieso,l feel you and l know is to pray in which l do everyday anytime anywhere and sometimes night vigil but God knows everything and he knows what he is doing but sometimes your soul and spirit might be tired of waiting and that is why we are human.

You seem confident about my application not for family category...well i mentioned earlier that background checks of me and my spous alone took cic more than a year.....my local mp always contacted them.....but i shared to let u guys know that if i could endure even almost 3years than u could also endure 12months......this forum is to share experiences so learn from others experiences.....i know how hectic it could be but if you read from post 80 coming u would realised my words there.....i keep saying and i repeat everyone will get their visa until there is no one left...so please take heart u are almost there

I don't even have money to hire a lawyer, I don't know even how to start the appeal please give me the lawyer's name I will have to do all I can to get my husband here. he told me the woman would not let him talk and she said stupid things that I never finished school and I never worked before and stupid nonsense that I don't have a diploma but I did finish school I don't even know what she is saying and she would not let him answer

Take heart....its always like this....sometimes the appeal prolong matters so it is always recomended to start the processing all over again and please try and visit ur husband to strengthen ur case....there must be proof of continuity of relationship....if possible try and exchange some western union between u....u can inbox me for more gist

Congrats! It is so refreshing to see average processing of 10 months. That gives those of us about to apply a lot of hope.

I am not even sure how to inbox here, can you please inbox me with any information you can think of, I have already contacted CIC, the immigration minister's office and my mp......and I am definitely going to appeal the decision because our marriage is real and the woman who interviewed my husband has no right to talk to him the way she did nor does she have the right to say she will make sure he will never get a visa, and never be able to go to Canada even if we appeal and win the appeal. she told him that she is the one that issues the visas and she will not give him one no matter what.......

Generic Application form for Canada IMM0008. They want to know whether your family size has changed or not before they issue the visa. As you can see, the form has "Dependants" section.

Angeleyes19 I am truly happy for you. I wish the rest the same blessing. I still don't understand why these people have given me 30 days to produce additional documentation after all I have been through, but I know God will see me through.

they refused my husband they said he is only using me to get to Canada because I am older then him they did not even let him answer the questions she just talked over him and then gave him everything back and told him to leave what do I do now?

Whose report shall we believe? We shall believe the report of the Lord! It may not always seem so but there is a reason for everything. Don't loose hope now..stay stronger then ever, start the appeal..get lots of advice from professionals in the field and on this forum, then sit back relax and watch God do what he alone does best. This too shall pass and it will surely end in praise.

IMM 0008 Generic Application Form for Canada..It's on their website.
