When you check your status on CIC's website, what date does it provide where it says "We received your application for permanent residence on xxxxx xx, 2014"? I think they go by that date, at least that is the trend that I was noticing for a while. So it's not actually they date the Purolator delivered the file, but the date that they first looked at the package and found all of the documents to be present. I had originally filed mine on October 5th, but because a document was lacking a signature, they say that they received my application on November 24th, once the signature was provided. Because your file wasn't transferred until February 24th, I'm guessing your official "application received" date is sometime between Oct 8th and February 24th, but I could be wrong. What I've noticed is that they go by the application received date, and I think Mekus' November 3rd application was the closest to November 24th that I've seen PPR'd to date. I hope this makes sense.

Thanks Ghanaboy ;D

I am not a November applicant, but rather October applicant.

Although it is great to calculate and estimate based on others timelines, I believe it's a case by case situation. I know people who applied in December and didn't get the AOR till March. Others have applied in March and got a response early May. It appears to vary and it appears summer months roll faster because of students. They tend to pick up pace because of them. Just keep the faith. Soon you will get great news!

Thank you Benestel. God will do it. I sent an email requesting what's going on today in the afternoon. The reply I got after some minutes was that they can't find a record of my application on their system.

And I remember the initial message I received from accra VO when I requested the status of my application. They stated clearly that they review each application based on when they have it transferred to their office.
