How long did it take from when they received your passport to when the visa was issued?

Hey Moh... I applied November 24 (application received), and still haven't heard anything. Have you noticed anyone after this date receiving any information? It seems like there has been no movement for the past 3 weeks, aside from the issuing of visas that were demanded before then... I wonder if maybe I should send them a note asking how things are going and to confirm that they have my wife's application.

You'll hear soon, very soon. I was just speculating based on when Mekus got his PPR which was a month ago so they should be at the end of November/early December.

best of luck!

Enjoy your break :). I'm traveling to Accra tomorrow, I'll spend some time there and then come back with the wife and we'll do the landing in Ottawa.

Congrats!! your case amazes me, your file was in Accra for only 2.5 months. But I think you got your PPR because you applied in September and you had issues with them.

The application for transit visa is just like every other visa. So, contact the embassy of interest and get information. U may open ur computer and check every detail on their website.
Remember, transit visa will also take some time. So, have to consider when u r planning to travel. Travelling tru US is cheap but not really the most pleasant (personal opinion)

So you mean is okay to travel via UK which does not require any transit visas?

Good day everyone, please do any body know a number I can call to reach accra VO? I need number(s) I can use to get in contact with accra VO and best time to call from Nigeria please.

Hey MoH1979,

Thank you! yeah i guess its cos of all the issues we had with them. All in all, i know it wont be long now. i can't wait to be over this phase and on to other things in life....
How are things progressing on your end?

Meanwhile, a question. in the email, it says The visa(s) will be valid until the expiry of your medical results or until the expiry of your passports, whichever is earliest. I think his Med Results is July 30, does that mean that is long the visa will last for? As in he has to use it before that date?
