Yes you are all welcome to accra thread.....as you were going through the previous readings you would realised it's has been like a family.....we all take delight in helping ourselves....the anxiety is so strong when u first file and u see others moving .....but u will surely get there....I had to wait for over 2 years to get my visa released.....so take courage and u are there....start calculating 9months from the date u file...dnt forget to give them ur medicals and the pr fee before they request for it as it also delays your application abit.u are welcome again....feel free to share ur experiences and concerns

Thank you for the welcome Ghana bobo. Let get excited for a miracle and we will all get our documents way before 9 months. I submitted everything upfront: Processing Fees $1040, medicals, police certificate, joint bank statements, a multitude of pictures (140 pics of all sorts, the beach, wedding pics, outings, home, swimming pool, in the car, at church, mall), BBM chats, emails, investments, 82 pages of phone bills and even our wedding souvenirs. We even got certifies statutory declarations. I think we are well covered and it already shows Medicals received. I look forward to a speedy move. Have we actually had any popping case yet where someone beat the record and completed the whole cycle in 4 months?

Certainly not accra office ;D but u are on point....u Will get it in 7months....lol not prophecy though

Charley! Less than that jor! I am the first exception to the rule ;D 4 months target. Let my people say YEAH! ( church organ playing) lol! Where in Ghana are you from? It looks like you are residing in Quebec. And it appears their approval timeline is a bit longer than the rest of the country. I could be wrong. But some people back in 2010 got approvals in 4 months. I thought I saw it on page 33 or so of this thread. I should have asked if anyone lately has had that Speedy Gonzales kind of approval.

Wow! Benestel you sent quite a bit a stuff. I'm sure you are gonna be a proved in a heart beat without any other interviews. That's one thing I'm hoping not to go through , interview. I just hope they waive it but if it comes to it then I wouldn't have any options but to go. As for the four months you are targeting I'm pretty skeptical because the office in my observation had slowed down a bit. But let's be hopefully they get to it faster.

I applied March 20, 2015. Got the AOR May 21, 2015 but the file was moved on May 15, 2015. I believe in miracles because I am a miracle, hehehehe. All things are possible to the person who believes. That's my philosophy so I pray that everyone on this thread get a HUGE mind blowing miracle.

Yes I did. Someone once said: Prayerful and Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance. I heard so many horror stories about CIC and was myself tangled up with them when I tried to get my status here that I just made up my mind that this time I will have and maintain the upper hand by giving them everything they asked for, and amplify it so it clearer than the book Immigration applications for Dummies. Cause they can be very funny. Also 2 of my friends just sponsored and I have another friend who work at CIC and one who is an immigration lawyer. So they kept telling me to give them more than they ask you. You will be fine. They will approve you in no time and we will all make history here with 4 - 5 month approvals! Well done my dear new friends!

Yeah I checked..it's pretty good and members will have to fill up on their own but it can get messy if they dnt take care and follow the way you did yours....weldone

Oh! So am I! My 2 friends I spoke about are here too and they were approved by the Accra VO in 8 weeks. One in the summer of 2012 and the other in the Spring of 2013. I think when everything is there, they process it quickly.
