Hello members any news from Accra?? Which month are they processing if anyone got the idea
Thanks.

Based on what people said, Accra is working on applications filed (initial filing in mississauga) in December I believe. I believe December and January applicants will hear something within the next month or so.

Oh! So am I! My 2 friends I spoke about are here too and they were approved by the Accra VO in 8 weeks. One in the summer of 2012 and the other in the Spring of 2013. I think when everything is there, they process it quickly.

Lately it has been 4 months after SA approval, so you're looking at 6-8 months total. But I like your optimistic view and I hope you're right.

Thanks! Optimism makes everyone stronger! I am sure we will all hear fantastic news shortly!

Welcome all new members and best of luck. Hang in there and do everything up front and pay your fees and provide plenty of explanations and relationship proofs.

You will all be ok!

Hey MoH1979,
Good to hear from you again. Hope all is well. Wife just picked up the shiny visa today from DHL. I can't believe its all over after the excruciating wait. All new members, stay on this thread and you will learn a lot. We all did. Before you know it, it will be over for you too. Keep the faith!

Hey Moh... I applied November 24 (application received), and still haven't heard anything. Have you noticed anyone after this date receiving any information? It seems like there has been no movement for the past 3 weeks, aside from the issuing of visas that were demanded before then... I wonder if maybe I should send them a note asking how things are going and to confirm that they have my wife's application.

I observed that too. Keep fingers crossed. You might hear from them before the end of this month

Relax for them kpa....you will hear from them in July...it's the normal 8months to 9months projection.....if it's getting too late we will alert u on that

I may be wrong but Mekus applied Nov 3 and got a response already. Hoping that Accra moves 5 - 10 business days per week like Mississauga, he will hear from them before the end of this month. Did I get it somewhat right? Kpalimeyovo... from Togo?

Yeah... I used Mekus' timeline to calculate that I should receive a passport request three weeks after May 12... i.e. I was expecting a passport request for my wife on or about June 2. As it stands now, my wife's status is still "application received", so they have fallen back at least 1-2 weeks. I guess Accra needs holidays too. Anyways, I hear that patience is a virtue :)

Kpalime vi! Fofo gne!

Sorry everybody. I got carried away with Kpalimeyovo. ;D let's keep the faith and the optimism. Faith always works. And it produces miracles!
