I have a question regarding flights.
Any reason why it is cheaper to do a return flight ticket with Lufthansa than it is to book one way?

If i book the return ticket (which i probably will) Can i cancel the return ticket for my wife after and get a partial refund?

Hi Bogsybogsy congratulations as you begin to make plans for the trip here, first of all this is high season for tickets which might mean high fares, second of all the difference in one way and round trip is not a lot so you may as well settle for one way. As for refunds I am not sure....

what does the reference say ? Or mean ? I don't know what that is but I doubt of anything from your mp is needed.

Hi there - unfortunately you can't receive any refunds once you have done one leg of the flight. One ways are always expensive especially coming from West Africa to Canada. It sucks!

It so crappy. I will still book two way to save the few hundred dollars and then cancel the return ticket



update*** my Wife has gone to the dhl office to pay for the shipping for the return of the passport.

Found it odd they did not give her tracking number for the envrlope back to Jos.
That DHL ghana will send her the dhl number once the passport has been picked up at the accra embassy.

You dont have to 'officially cancel' the return ticket. All you have to do is not show on that day. Maybe you could try www.flighthub.com, hubby used them the last time he came and flights were cheap.

when you get an email from Accra to send Dhl they will get it as soon as they get there and as for Dhl it depends where you live. Within Accra shouldn't be more than two days , Nigeria can be less than 7 days . Base on what others posted in the past so just chill and keep us posted.

Have submitted my passport last week Wednesday, so j just want to have the idea of how long it takes before they stamp the visa on the passport .thanks

Try priceline and flighthub to get a cheap flight to Canada - The trick is buy few days to when she's coming. Where are you here in Canada? I'm in Calgary and sponsoring my wife as well. we got email to send courier on 4 june as well to come pickup her package as its ready but when FedEx got there, they were told its not ready yet.. Just wanna confirm if yours has been picked up per tracking? Thanks man.
