hi guys im starting to worry, i know that my husband has passed his background check and his interview and now they are doing further medical tests to check for active cells of tublecorosis. is it possible that they will refuse to give him the visa. or would they have just said refused form the biggining?

I don't think they can refuse him but if he has active TB ,he will have to be under treatment for another 6montjs or so.

finally Accra Ghana has responded to my emails regarding my second medicals, here is the email they sent to me,

Dear Applicant,
we have received your email stating that the medical results were sent to Paris at the end of March, however we need proof that this was in fact done by the panel physician. Please contact the physician and email back with the evidence when received

Hello there, I am wondering what the CoPR is and what was the amount of time he was given to land in Canada? My husband has an interview on August 28th in Accra and if all goes well, it would seem from this forum that he may expect his vis the same day or the next. However, I would like to know if he can come to Canada right away or if he has to wait.

Thank you. And many thanks to all of you have provided such valuable information about what to expect during this process. I am so glad I found this forum. God bless you all as you wait for your immigration processes.

When my husband went for his visa, he arrived as soon as they opened. He said he submitted his passport, the letter, the pictures and the documents they requested. Then he was asked to sit and wait...then he was told to come back the following day because the link was down and they could not complete the process! I panicked but he stayed calm.

He returned the next day and was told to come back at 2pm. He went back at 2pm and got his visa!

He was not asked any questions at all. The lady gave him back all the photos and told him to land in Canada before the date on the CoPR.

Other than the link being down, everything should go on well and in one day 8)

All the best ;D

Hello jeremiah29-11, pls after your interview, did the visa officer mention to you how long your medicals will take to arrive from france due to the delay?cos i noticed it took you just 6 dayz and you got an email for visa pick up......your response is important, thanx a lot.

HI Wow,
Sorry for the delay in response. The last while has been very busy for me and a friend from Canada is now here to visit as well.

Anyhow, the immigration officer did not tell my husband how long it would take. I prayed it wouldn't take longer than 2 weeks and in the end like you saw it only took another week till we heard we could go get the visa. It was then another week before we had a chance to go pick it up.

Hope this helps. Have you had the same thing occurs?
