Hurray! My wife was sent an email this morning from accra, to come for an interview in october. She was told to come with all accompanying family members. I just hope everything works out good for my wife and kids. Helpful tips anyone?

I really don't know why Accra always wanted to interview people regardless how straight forward their cases turn to be. My friends told me i shoudn't expect anything like interview waived from the office and here we go they called for interview while others applying form New Deli visa get passport request with their visa. Too bad

This is very sad for Africa believe me cos i can't believe all those who applied at New Deli in india were all getting visas after passport request whereas we those applying through the Accra office are being treated this way. Even now i am beginning to understand that the accra office just schedule people for interview before they even open up the files after transfer. Too bad!

hello everyone,

been reading all these posts even since i applied for my husband. his interview is next week. i am pregnant and due in 2 weeks. we have received a letter requesting pictures, phone bills and emails between me and him and also quebec selection certificate ( if anyone from quebec applying here would know what this is.) and they asked him to bring school certificates high school elementary etc. at the end they said to bring in this letter and his passport with him. the process of my husbands application went really fast and got approval from canada then quebec within 4 months time or 6. is this a good sign? what do u guys think. and i also gave in a letter from my doctor with my due date and picture of my ultra sound. is it possible they will refuse it?

Thanks for sharing your experience my wife got an interview in November and they also requested the following:

Birth Cert, Marriage cert, pictures for our marriage, proof of communicationi such as phone bills, email,picture and she was also ask to bring her school documents,birth cert or previous passport. I don't think you should worry cos accra is one of those VO that can ask anything they want and believe me the pictures you sent from your doctor will help a lot. My only advice is if your husband is sending them his school cert let him attached that with some pictures he took at the school during his school days if he has one. Good luck and all the best
