Hello all.
I just discovered this forum.
I just got this on 28th March after 2 years of exchanging documents endlessly but no interviews scheduled.

"Your immigrant visa(s) appears ready to be issued.......................................................

I sent my passport, photos and other documents by DHL on 31st March and it delivered and signed for by CIC Ghana on the 2nd April.
How long does it take to issue my immigrant visa and return my passport?

Hi femishow99....I have asked the same question several times and no reply from any member of the forum...i also sent my passport and I'm waiting to hear from the embassy in Accra.

If you are resident outside Ghana , I hear it takes 2 to 3 weeks.

What about if your an other nationality but you are presently in Accra waiting 4 d passport, what will be d time processing?

Hi All,

We have just sent in our application. We are praying for a speedy process. We did everything in advance except police check. We currently live in the UK and have decided to wait until we receive a letter from Accra requesting it, figured it will be easier to send a representative to the police station in Accra with the letter.

We have been together for 3 years, married for 1 and have lots of proof of our relationship. I think we put together (it was literally 400-500 pages!!) a good application. In a perfect world, we are hoping the process only takes 7 months - fingers crossed.

Wishing all the best to all other members in the forum who are currently waiting. I encourage everyone to post their timelines as it gives us who are waiting hope.

My wife was asked to send in her documents as her visa is ready to be issued, and she did a week and couple day ago, yesterday April 10th we received mail from Accra that we need to send in a courier to pick up her visa/documents. So I would say you guys should expect to pick up your visa in approximately 10 to 15 business days from the day they received your documents. On a side note..we used DHL.

Accra thread is so slow , us there any spreadsheet to compare process times? How many months did it take for you guys getting visas? We just started the process as well , plz guys tell us how many months it took for you .

welcome I think you should try to get the police thing sorted out now coz that can cause delays , I wonder how someone can get that for you because you need to be present to take pics , finger prints etc , just wondering , let keep each other posted on any development on our applications, tc
