Hey guys, Haven't been very active on the forum because i find it less stressful not to focus too much on the processing of my husband's application. The whole process has just been exhausting.

Since i last posted my husband has finally received his interview date, which has been scheduled in May. Although it is 2 months away we are just grateful we are nearing the end. I have ordered our GCMS notes just to see if anything has been added in regards to the concerns the immigration officer may have.

Question: Is it an issue if he re-does his medical before going to the interview?

Do not redo the medicals until they tell you to!

hi,my daughter's birth certificate which was requested by the high commission arrivedat the embassay today.do you people think,they will wait for the 30days to pass before making a decision since medical expires next month,i followed some past users on here threads and looks like when they tell you decision will be made within the time given,they never them.i pray they dont wait for me to redo medicals since i have provided what they needed in time for them to send the decision right away

Hello members,

My wife went to the Accra office with all the correspondence you advice me to send and my daughter's citizenship certificate was given to her right away. The only thing they said was sorry for not call us since December and their apology is not accepted as far as I am concern cos they treat people very unprofessional. Even what drives me so crazy is the huge amount of money we pay to cic to process the application and for them to be doing whatever they wish is heart breaking and very sad. I would like to thank you all for your advice and I am now waiting to see what they will do with my wife's application and how long.

Hi Basalana..I probably not waste the time or money redoing the medicals...we redid ours in july and in Feb after our interview they made us redo them anyways and completely ignored the ones we redid on our own...Im sorry its so exhausting I know your pain...hang in there!

I think this one is very difficult but I think it really depends on the miss information. If it is a minor incident you think would not cause any harm I think you should not because correcting it after the interview would raise a red flag. However, if you think it is a big issue please do write them to correct because you don't want to be punish for 5 years for misrepresentation. Now you can also see what other members have to say.

Hi Butterflygirl: Sorry am not able to answer your question but have you checked out: Spousal Sponsorship Interview Questionaires, Experience, Preparations page? Just in case u looking for more examples. They have over 200 pages of folks from all over who can relate or have experienced the interview process. Many who have come out successful. different scenarios: how to prepare /which questions / how to act and answer. approvals on the spot/rejections/turnaround time of weeks to months and they from all over the world including Accra. am sure if u have questions they wud be more than happy to give you pointers which can ensure a smooth process. How is your ankle? If you still off work bc of injury perhaps you can take some time to read the page mentioned and learn from others experience. I found them to be very opened with the intention to help people learn for the better and learn what not to do. all the best to you and ur hubby & wishing you speedy recovery.

Yes still off work....until tomorrow. Will be using a crutch cause I am done laying in bed for a week and it's now hurting my back, so i refuse to stay at home, plus money is good. I have been gathering everything I can for the interview same as my husband. Just putting it all together. I will check into the Interview Questions pages, thanks.

Yes still off work....until tomorrow. Will be using a crutch cause I am done laying in bed for a week and it's now hurting my back, so i refuse to stay at home, plus money is good. I have been gathering everything I can for the interview same as my husband. Just putting it all together. I will check into the Interview Questions pages, thanks.

@Butterflygirl, don't you think you can use the condition you are in at the moment by writing the Accra Office with some photo evidence with the crutch you are using to get their attention to get your husband here if not right away but at least after the interview. Even if they don't reply you during the interview thye will discuss that with your husband as I can remember one of my friend sponsor her husband and she wrote the Accra office when she was sick. She explained how she really needs her husband to help her get well and during the interview his passport expires very soon but the officer ask him if he can leave in 10 day since the wife is sick he said yes and they issued him a visa right away.

dat wud be a good idea especially if she can get a little note from a doctor....it work ld really make sense

Thanks for your response, the issues is this......I didn't remember to include deceased beside my dad's name at the time we filled the application and while in our marriage certificate deceased is included beside my dad's name. During the few minutes phone interview with my husband he was asked if my dad is dead or life , my hubby responded by saying he is dead. The officer pointed it out that in the application I didn't indicate deceased. My hubby referred the officer to check our marriage certificate that is included there.

Pardon my grammar English is not first language.

I'm scared if this will cause any problem ........this month complete one year of file our application.

Please any further advice will be great.
