Please Friend, i need a clarification. I linked my account with GCKey yesterday so that i will be able to monitor my application processing time. But after linking the account, i read that as at the very moment you link the account, you will not be getting any correspondence via email.
My question, is it that AVO will not send me email when my PPR is ready? Please i need advice.

That's not true.. My account is linked and I still get emails. The account will first notify you of a change, then you get the email.

Ok thanks, my mind is at rest now. the worse is that i cant even accessed the information.

For all those asking about re-medicals, sometimes AVO requests applicants to re-do medical when the initial medical is about to expire. AVO can choose to go ahead and issue the visa giving the applicant a very limited time to land (as is the case of Labelle and others) or request another medical. If they have asked you for re-medical, PLS DO SO ASAP....your PPR beckons.

Please friends, am not sure if anyone of you have the same challenge I get whenever I try to login to check my application update on GCKey account. Anytime I plug in my info, it always say that my application is not found base on the information provided. That message kind of puzzled me.
Has anyone had such challenge too?

It happened to us too intitially, we now used the file/ application number instead of the UCI and we were in. You can try using your file number to log in.

Also,the number of applicants is 2 even if it's just you. For example, if you are the only one being sponsored it is 2, if it is you and one other person it is 3..

In fact, the manner in which Freshychichi and Dele got PPR same day as the redone medicals shows that AVO is ready to sit up.

It's adviceable to pay upfront to prevent delays. So you can do so now without AVO asking, just send them the receipt through CSE.
