Hello everyone, am in a situation where I don't know what to do. My husband has been a divorcee for almost 9 years before we met in which he does not have access to his children and now AVO is requesting for the child pictures, international passport and medical needs to be done.How will l have all this done without knowing the whereabouts of my X and all efforts to get in touch proved abortive. Can you please share your ideas.
This child is not traveling with me.......pls help.

This is kind of weird. Medicals for his child but he is the sponsor. Since the child isn't yours why are they asking for these information. Nevertheless, AVO can ask anything. They are unpredictable. As Ardnacieso mentioned, I will suggest you provide all you have. The details and breakdown as to your husbands connection with his child. He should provide this. You can't give what you don't have and at the same time you have to reply their request.

Hello Everyone,

I just found this thread today. I applied to sponsor my wife in June,2015. I received Sponsor Approval in August and my wife's application was transferred top Accra Visa Office on 9th September.

My wife's application has been in "process" since September 23. And a new line was also added that we started processing your application in September 23. (Medicals have also been received) Does anyone know how long it takes from an application being in process to Passport request?

Welcome to the thread.
AVO is unpredictable as to timeline lately. It's totally different from what it was last year. In any case, patience is the key. Get busy and that helps the time. Come on here to share experience with the house. Encouragement and a hello is always good to read.

Naponga I feel you... My husband is a gospel musician who lives in Canada, I'm a teacher and I love what i do.. I haven't seen my husband in 6 months and its making me go crazy both sexually and mentally stressful, lol i mean we are all adults here so I don't feel shy..I mean we all need that and that's why its difficult to stay away from your love ones. Hopefully we all get a passport request or else i will let him pack his things and come stay here with me . One day we will all look back and see where God has brought us and we will laugh about it...that's how life is.....like Lamour said patience is important.... We will celebrate Christmas with our love ones the cold is coming and we need to warm up with our love ones lol... don't feel discourage..

I am in my early 20s. And my Wife away in TOGO
Canadian Media and culture poking me with teasers here and there.
Hormones or whatever it is that make the lack of .... so difficult to bear. Especially when you are fidel and want to build a strong foundation and not mess up. Aaaaaaaaaaah i couldn't take it any more.
I did what any young impatient man would do.

I packed my things and I came down waiting for the PPR together. Geeez I was going Crazy. Now I am here with her (Comfort SIGH) and my children. Imagine there was a time,I went 2.5 years without them.
I did it guys I came down, Glory to God though without Him I couldn't. These VO don't know what we are going through.

You guys are killing me softly! The last time I saw my husband was In August 2014! A year and over and my hormones are out of wack! I don't remember what it feels like anymore! I am a total married VIRGIN!!!! Help! How do you kiss again? umm immigration? what are you doing to us! Don't even let me start on my husbands testaterone. lol....I commend him! my prayers always is for God to disable his manhood till we meet again lmao. Skype, Tango and the rest of our social media outlets are not comparable to the real thing! @ Yaozm, my hat is off to you! I wish I can go back again to wait with him. Our daughter says there's way too many mosquitoes in Ghana. Accra to be exact! And I agree. I use to get mad after 6pm and don't mistaken during the day time, the black mosquitoes with the silver legs come out and play too. Oh yes, I became a mosquitoe expect after spending six months in Ghana!!!! I got use to coil and mosquitoe sprays. Mosquitoes in Ghana are soldiers! They weren't afraid of Air Conditioners either! HA!! Anyway, all I'm saying is, I need my baby and if I have to pack up and leave, I will be taking back my vote! lol

My husband and I neve lived together as a couple since we married but he comes to visits for two weeks and then go back due to the job he does. The longest I stayed without my husband was 8 months....we both don't have any children yet...VO needs to hurry because we want to have our children as soon as possible...

Nice! I know, It is soo annoying! Im 32 and my husband is 36 and weve been doing this since 2010! I met him on my first visit to Ghana and you know how the mind and negativity from others can discourage a person. I left him due to hearing different stories of many people using others to get to North America. Anyway, God has always been in the center of our relationship and in 2013, we rekindle our relationship and we've been at it. Girl, I miss my boo. lol and sometimes I blank everything out of my mind before I legally loose it. Your man comes for a visit every two weeks? you are bless! Even if we were able to, theres so much I have to prepare for. His arrival and the holidays and other plans weve set in place. I would really love for him to come visit or vice versa. But, the money. lol
Anyway, seeing we have the same time line, good news is coming by next month for sure!!!!

Lol naponga I don't even remember the mosquitos in ghana how they even look like since I left ghana when I was 9.... I was even surprised that they transfer my sponsorship to Accra... Skype and oovoo are helpful but nothing compare to the real one lol...

We got married last year November and I was home for 4 weeks after the wedding. Time went bye like a flash light and I was back in Canada in December. I went back in May and returned in June. It's been 4 months but I feel it's been 12. I don't have to give the breakdown as to how much I miss my husband, words cannot even start to describe it and I share the exact same sentiment like everyone else. Same shoes. Now, I want to go back, where is the vacation????? No more vacation days ooooo. Bad market, I need my job so I'm stuck here. Well well well, heaven knows what AVO is doing. Whatever it is, what we are waiting for is what it is. PPR for everyone asap. It's imperative

To God be the Glory. Hubby in contact with kids after several calls and God intervention,l believe things will work out but the only clause there is that we were given only 30 days to send in the request. I don't know how long will the medical takes and I don't know when AVO will receive the results.Pls remind me in your prayers and I will pray for you too.......
