Hahshahaha my teeth are dancing ajasco. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D infact this thread is the best. I was thinking i would resign this december but will still continue with my job. My hubby gives me hope and this forum. My hubby said i shouldnt worry about anything because in his own time (ĢOD) everything would come into manifestation whether Accra likes it or not.A year and eight months i haven't seen my hubby Though he planned coming home this december. My pray is that i should have my visa by then by God grace and everyone here by Gods grace. @ Lamour i believe God that u will receive good news between now and next week in Jesus name. Plz let all endeavour to pray for one another especially those that have spent up to 8months and above. This people are due for promotion you now what i mean. According to what i read, when eligibility and medicals is passed, its no longer the fault of cic but the fault of the bodies designated for the security and criminality check. AND also i read today that even after one has passed all the steps and ur medicals is about to expired, cic might decided to extend it and during that process it also delays time.

@Naponga today I really felt it. With the rain. I had to call my hubby. I long for the day that I can say I miss you in the same country and I love you face to face. ??? I'm sure you all can identify.My app was received in April, correspondence was sent in June and processing also started in June. My medicals were done longtime and received.It changed to In process on the cic website the day we all got excited and we're rejoicing. Now I am in prayer mode. I put up my Christmas tree and started decorating in preparation for my hubby to arrive for Christmas. Come what may we will all have a testimony.

@ Naponga you are just a clown! Hahaha "married virgin" I can so relate. Funny thing tho is very similar times to when we met our hubbys. I met mine early in 2010, I just just moved back home from the states..and he was everything I had been waiting for. God fearing, handsome, strong, athletic built and 6"2 We dated for about 2 yrs then I had to relocate to Canada and we separated. We both met and dated other people but found our way back to each other sometime in 2013 and we became inseparable afterwards. We got married in Jan 2015 and were together for a month..Its been almost 10months now. We had planned for him to come visit in September just in time for Thanksgiving in Oct but his father passed. *sniffs* Now he is in an enormous amount of pain and I'm not by his side.
I manage a huge retail outlet that makes it impossible for me to just up and go, esp as we are now in our peak season..But I have put in a LOA so I can go be with him during the funeral early Jan and also be around for our 1st year anniversary which we've both been looking forward to. There's only so much comfort one can give over the phone and no one should have to go through a big loss alone. Just wanna hold my big bear in my arms and comfort him through this ordeal. We are both the same age and he's my bestie. I also need some sugar (cane) abeg e don teh small loooool!I told hubs I will need some waist winding dance moves to un stiffen my now very stiff waist
I'm really looking forward to my trip at least it will help take my mind off AVO and give me something to prepare for. In God we trust!

Again @ Naponga.. We are a singing family over here our son plays the guitar and produces songs, I'm a singer song writer..and hubby...well hubby is our coordinator, manager, biggest fan, bodyguard, supporter, exec producer etc lol We are Aka The Vontrap family singers hahahaha ;D

What im wondering is. ...can a PR who hasn't lived in Canada for up to 6 months in the preceding year b a sponsor? Does she need to stay there a while before applying? ?

I became a PR in 2013 and only just returned to Canada in January, I sent in my wife's appilcation in April, in the application all they want to see is that you have a job and can support the person you are sponsoring. I also wrote a letter to support the reason why I was out of the country i.e working until i go my licence to practice.
So it shouldn't be a problem.
