Teni,my advice for you is to talk to an immigrant lawyer in canada, explain the whole truth to him/her and let your husband in nigeris go back to the court and explain to the lawyer or better still talk to a lawyer in nigeria in any case, whatever document you need to send to accra has to come from a lawyer stating that the case has been in court since 2008.ok.go talk to a lawyer and let your husband do the same ASAP.talk to a lawyer.tkcare.and let your husband go to the wedding registry and talk to someone there too.ok.i believe something can be done.

Now we just read my husband's annulment letter again and found out it was actually started on the annulment letter that "The degree is Absolute after 3mths,(his sepration/divorce) meaning we where not to get married until after 3mths , but the issue is the lady he married before has long been remarried, and this case has been in Nigeria since 2008 and was only issued when he came in May for our wedding, pls i need suggestions ,, right now am sick to my bones
I'd suggest getting married again, right now, and sending the new, valid marriage certificate to the visa officer within the 60 days he/she gave you. Explain that you two did not understand that you couldn't get married until after 3 months had passed.
The visa officer will not care about your husband's exwife and the fact she is remarried. You could mention it, but it will not mean your marriage is legal. You could also ask to be considered as common-law partners instead, if you have lived together for at least a year.
But going to a lawyer in Nigeria is probably going to be necessary as well.
