Hello everyone, processing times is back to 14 months for AVO as of today Aug 27. I am a lil relief. Praying for God's grace throughout this sponsorship journey for every one of us. Must say it is been tough been away from hubby.... & Congrats to those getting PPR...

Is it me or the processing time for AVO is still 23months?
I just checked it!!!

I just went there again and its still the same. Is it updated or not? can you direct me as to where to go? pleaseeeeeeeeee

Google "processing time family sponsorship" then click on the first result you see... will take you to cic website. Then click view by visa office... AVO is the first visa office you see as you scroll down.

Yeah sweetywe are definitely on the same both and I can't wait to hear a good news... Let keep praying to God for divine speed and favor on our sponsorship because it's not easy, Me too I check my cic status everyday and it's always decision made....

I so much appreciate God for the reduction in processing time. This means on the average application might be process for 7 months. I think they were having issues which affacted especially the visa offices they have in Africa and some other countries which has be rectified. The way i am seeing it, JUne applicants might received the request for passport if not issuing of visa This Dec 2015. Let Believe God they will be fast in this last quarter of the Year.

So, what changes on your CIC status when they request for your passport? Right now my status says Decision made and the application is forwarded to AVO. I just cant wait to see a change on it.

If the DM on your ecas is on your sponsor side that means cic is talking about your sponsor approval the SA and l guess that is the status you have now according to your timeline that shows your file was transfered in June 2015, so you need to wait for further directives from AVO.
