They kind of gave us those 2 options. Just wanna know which is faster. They gave my wife 15 days to submit her passport. How many days do they normally give? And just to make things way difficult, her medicals were done on April 15th. And she's even currently in the French Embassy trying to get her passport back because she was supposed to travel this April. So it's just a *censored word*-storm right now with everything going on.

It depends where you are, are you in Accra? then Accra would be the fastest rather than Nigeria. Usually they give 15 days yes.

It was sent to our Lawyer. It's gonna be different for those who applied without a lawyer. Where did the other folks send their passport? The Accra Visa Office or VFS Global Nigeria?

You are to send your passport to the visa office in Ghana. You can send it through DHL or VSF Global in Lekki (Manor Place).

We got our passport request by email which was sent to our immigration lawyer.

It depends where you are, are you in Accra? then Accra would be the fastest rather than Nigeria. Usually they give 15 days yes.

MOH1979 it has to be Accra as that is where PR is processed.

Gamer, if you have documents to send, use DHL to send your passport. DHL Express from Nigeria takes 2 business days to get to the VO in Accra. If you are just sending your passport and there are no documents to send, you can use VSF. Just note that DHL is quite expensive. It costs N13k just to sent to Accra and for them to pick up, it is another N18k or so. For VSF, sending and picking up is almost N8k buy I do not know how long it takes them to deliver it to Accra but I think they must send stuff everyday.

Honestly my lawyer said I should resend the IM0008 form even though there were no added dependants. I think the IMM5406 is your wife's family information. So I think it is the IM0008 you need to send. MOH1979 am I right on wrong?

IM0008 is the additional dependents form, they just want to know if you have a child accompanying you or if you had a new child.

IMM5406 is the the family form, this is where you list the names of all your family whether they come with you to Canada or not. They just want to know if something changed.

I would fill in both again and attach a note saying that nothing has changed.

Absolutely, it's Accra you're right and I mentioned that. I was just confused because gamer said they gave him 2 options.

Yeap very true! maybe Nov 4 sef. Remember seeing the date in the note. so am thinking it was transferred in NOV, because we got extra document request on September 4 and SA on October 29. But then it's all speculations, no one knows the exact day stuffs happen anymore.

I will stay on the forum but I've just been a little busy the past few days after my husbands refusal I've been preparing for the appeal process. No ohhh IMM0008 is the Principal Application form which contains dependent information. That information can also be captured in the Additional Family Information. Since nothing has changed, we can ignore it however the lawyer said the IMM5406 which is the Additional Family Information is fine since nothing has changed. Anyway, myself and my wife will review the documents again this weekend. I hope they can sign it in a week to make sure she's out of the country before March 28.

By the way guys, how did you go about the Pre-paid DHL package?
