From what I've seen, it depends on the officer. A lot of people don't get any AOR emails. The only way you can be sure your application is in Mississauga is by tracking your post.

I never got an AOR and I eventually got sponsorship approval by mail. Some people get emails, others by mail. It really depends.

Once my file went to Accra, again I never got an AOR from them. I know they opened my file since I ordered my GCMS notes which shows they opened it.

Good luck and I hope you have a speedy process.

Thank you, thank you Moh1979.

I wish you the same, your progressive timeline gives me hope too.

Hi All,

Thanks for your responses so far. My husband says he got a job offer that pays $12 per hour. I was wondering....Is he still supposed to provide a 12 month account history or he should just submit employment details fom his employer?

Secondly, are there any designated places for the medicals and the police reports to be done, or can they be done anywhere?

Thirdly do I just package all the pictures together or is there a particular pattern for me to arrange them...or do i need to write anything at the back of each photograph?

Thaks in anticipation of your responses.

Hi. The way we arranged ours was as follows. We enclosed a list of what we had in the file such as.

Folder A.- sponsored persons app and supporting documents
Folder B- sponsors app and supporting documents
Folder C- pictures( I labeled mine)
Folder D- letters from family and friends
Folder E- plane tickets and bus tickets from when I traveled to nigeria
folder F- phone records .
As for the police cleareance I think it can be done at any police station. The medical has assigned doctors that can do it.

Your welcome.

Very well organized NKT0817, I wish ours was this detailed. Do you mind sharing your timeline on the left corner of your profile please? Just like MOH1979. This will be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance

I know NKT applied in June and her file was transferred to Accra on July 31.

She had to submit some extra documents in November and December and she is now waiting to get a passport request.

Hope that helps.

Very true. Patient is a quality to cultivate right now. Slowly but surely, we will all succeed.

I submited those documents and they were recieved yesterday in accra. In the previous email they said they would review the application in 30 days and come to a final decision at that time. 30 days would be today, I'm praying it's not much longer. Fingers crossed!

My medicals expires in April,i hope cic won't force me to apply for visiting visa before my medicals expires
