I posted this in this forum because am now in Nigeria and accra will be the one handling my file now.
That's good, you are welcome to post here any time and find encouragement and support in us, it's been a huge help for us, not only for answers to our questions but also just to give us something to look forward to by seeing others success stories. I just meant that you might get more answers specific to your case by also asking in a thread for the live in caregiver program because most of us in this thread are doing the regular family class sponsorship which is quite a bit different and I think also much quicker. Ghanaboy's case is really similar to yours though so I think he can probably give you more info.

I have gone ahead and changed the settings on the Accra spreadsheet. Anyone can now add their details or edit the information. I am stepping away at this time. It has been nice getting to know all of you on this forum but the drama recently has been a little much for me. We all came here for support and help and it seems that things have gotten off track lately. I wish you all the best in the processing of your visas and being reunited with your loved ones.

Here is the link to the Accra spreadsheet. ;D

AMA it sad to have you caught up in this but I guess everything works out for the best .Good you got what I meant earlier , You still have our support and I will check on you via email to see how is going for you , The new people will be ok as well . I am gonna just lay low as well. There was no drama intended though I guess people just assume or take things the wrong way. The most important thing is we are all almost done. I pray you hear from Accra soon . Take care and check it inbox :)

Oh no!!!!!, PLS YOU DONT HAVE TO GO. we can sort this out.The open spreadsheet would be a disaster. What if someone deletes my profile?. We apologise on obronibini's behalf. I agree the statement sounded harsh but he didnt mean it that way. Thats one of the disadvantage of typed words because we dont know the context in which its been used. We are sorry.

Don't forget that when passing through USA on a layover, I think we may need a transit visa.. Can anyone confirm this? We were looking for flights that don't have layovers in US but they seem to be much more expensive than ones that do. Does anyone have any idea what the process is like to get a US transit visa? We are going to try to call a USA visa representative tomorrow to get more info..

With delta airline, u will be flying tru US. Do u have US visa? If yes, go ahead. Most airlines passing tru the US are in that range or even cheaper.

Whao, you are so right. We are going to need a valid US visa to transit in the US. I guess the only other option is klm, but POE would be either toronto, calgary or montreal. Its important to book a flight with atleast 3 hrs layover so you can land and not miss your conecting flight to winnipeg.

Yes, it will indeed be nice if Ama can stay on and be in charge of the spreadsheet. I tried sending her a pm but unfortunately it didnt go through. The email for ppr is sent to both tge sponsor and applicant. I am not sure about the interview though. Just make sure to check both inbox and spam regularly. Cheers.
