Did you use a tracker service to check when the application was delivered and received by CIC.

The application processing timelines for 10 months is usually from the date they have received it. I have been going through multiple timelines and it takes 1 to 1 and half months for AOR post the application delivered at CIC.

Also Sponsorship approval comes in after a week from AOR but for me it came after a few weeks.

Yes , I did pay extra and sent it as a courier. The tracking label showing it was delivered on 02 Oct, 2019.

Then only hope is to wait and hear something positive in coming days. Good luck to you.

Hope you get AOR soon.

Even New Delhi seems to be taking 5 to 8 Months for processing
Application takes 2 to 3 months in Canada before they are forward to various visa offices. Accra spend 6 months to give visa for dependent. So 3 plus 6 total to 9 months

Thank you for this information.

Is it same for Inland and Outland?

2 to 3 months processing in Sydney, NS
4 to 7 months processing in outside Visa office

HI,

Me and my wife are Canadian PR. We got PR before our daughter was born, crossed border in May 2018 and came back. Our daughter was born in USA in July 2018. We moved to Canada in April 2019 and applied for her PR in May 2019.
1.) It was received in Sydney office on May 27,2019.
2.) It was AOR on July 16,2019.
2.) On July 23,2019 I met the eligibility condition for being a sponsor and also told to take the medical exam.
3.) On July 26,2019 got a message telling the case was transferred to Mississauga for processing.
4.) On July 31,2019 we took the medical exam.
5.) On August 9,2019 got message that my daughter passed the medical exam.
6.) On August 21,2019 got a message telling case was transferred to Los Angeles office for processing.
7.) I got this message in September 2019: "We started processing your application on September 9, 2019."
8.) Then on October 21,2019 I got an update that the file was transferred from Los Angeles office to the New York office.
9.) On November 26,2019 I got a message saying my daughter qualifies for Pre-arrival Services

They said I should get an acknowledgement from the New York office in 30 days and I didn't get any even though it is more than 30 days. I don't know why they keep on transferring the file from one office to another. Is anyone else going through the same situation? Is there a thread for the New York office?

Also what does the Pre-arrival Services mean?

You can ask CIC as to why this is happening. They should provide an answer why the Visa office is changing each time.

****** Pre Arrival services means that Eligibility requirements are passed *****

Pre-arrival services are free online or in-person programs for people who have been approved to immigrate to Canada.

Pre-arrival services offer information to better understand life in Canada, how to find a job, and how to access other free settlement services when you arrive in Canada. Some programs offer specific information according to your profession or destination, such as language training and essential skills training in the workplace.

You can access most pre-arrival services if you meet these 2 requirements:

You have received a Confirmation of Permanent Residence letter (COPR), or have been contacted by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) with a positive decision on the eligibility of your application

You live outside of Canada.

My two cents is don't expect miracles since CIC is slow in processing.

Thank you :)

I hope there is movement soon after this transfer to VO.

What concerns me is that things become slow once it reaches VO :(
My son application was transferred to the visa office in May and I got his PR in November
