Actually my son was a Sikh earlier. He cut his hair. The passport people refused to allow in tatkaal and said to apply in Normal.

I applied for my daughter passport because of change in appearance in June and it was done in tatkal. Not sure if the rules changed recently.

Me and The gentle man who advised you for tatkal discussed your case

1) Change of appreance counts for any reason and here you are talking about drastic change

2) Your son will not get a tatkal pp now

3) If you get a Police clearance certificate it will speed up the process

4) You should have done what you were told by the gentle man you have been discussing this issue over Phone

Went for reissue of PP of both my sons -- 12 ,18 - to ND Passport Office ITO.

My minor sons application was on dot...will get the pp within a week.

But elder son..had a little problem.It involved change of appearance. One has to apply in NOrmal for this. Tatkaal cannot be done.So applied in Normal and keeping fingers crossed that I receive it early.I have to submit my dox max by Jan 7, 2013.

Passport people informed me that if I get the police verification done quickly, then I can go to RKPuram Passport office and request them to please issue the PP early. Will take a chance.

If any of you guys have any suggestions so that I get my elder sons PP early, do post your views.

Dear Friend,
You need to take proper followup with the SP office for speedy Police inquiry. I too applied to renew passport for appearance change, name change and address change in normal. I get forwarded my police verification on the same day from sp office to local police station and completed verification the 2nd day. So keep in touch with Sp office and local police station then again sp office to forward verification to passport office. (keep ready photo of two Persons of your area with their Photo id copies and one photo of passport holder for Police verification, to speed up your Passport reissue)

I am working with one of the Big 4 from 5 years.
Are there any other measures, to apply. if category 1111 does not revived.

Visa Office......: Buffalo but file has been transfered to Ottawa in july 2012
NOC Code......: 1111
App. Filed.......: May 06 2011
AOR Received from Nova Scotia.: June 16 2011
Status: In process : Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 18, 2012
They have requested documents on April 18, 2012 and i have provided in timely manner.


My biggest consern at this point is: my Arranged Employment Opinion approval letter has validity till Dec 08 2012
Do my employer need to apply for extension of my AEO, in order to continue my application?, I have thought that without extension my application can be void??

my employer did provide extension letter in company's letter head, stating that the job offer is still open.
Note: below the validity date on AEO letter, Hrsdc has mentioned that "Please note that CIC will not award points for Arranged Employment if the Skilled worker's Permanent residence Application is received by CIC after this date."


Please give me your valuable thoughts. It will be greatly appreciated.

for your information, there is no NOC list in the upcoming Jan 2013 FSW. if you are able to score 67, points, then u will be able to get PR, without your NOC being revived or not. check out www.cic.gc.ca
second option for you is to get a job offer from canada and apply under AEO
third option for you is apply under PNP category. check the above link.
fourth option for you is Quebec Skilled Worker program, with a minimum knowledge of French language.
