Hi Friends!

How difficult is it to change the surname after we get the Visa stamped on the passport. If you will try to get an appointment you will get the under mentioned message on the Passport site:-

PCC applicants need not take an appointment from 11th May onwards until further notice. They only need to fill in the online application form and register online, atleast one day in advance before visiting the PSK. Applicants must visit PSK with required documents and a copy of the Online Application Receipt.

May be there is variation from PSK to Psk, But at Ludhiana PSK even for passport reissued they attend the applicants on 2nd day without appointment

Hi Friends!

You go to the medical request letter details about name on passport without surname is given there
I we send passport to CHC without surname then our Given name will be appeared in the Surname only in the VISA. This is what, about the name as given in the MR letter

Hi all,

With respect to the IMM 008 form - under National Identify Document, what have you guys used? Can I use my PAN card details? as I had used the same for initial application; a catch here is PAN does not have an expiry date.

Hello,
Can somebody pl. instruct me how to obtain PCC in Gujarat? Yesterday I went to the PSK here and was told that my application for PCC would not even be accepted since my current address and address on PP are in different states. They are saying if you have stayed in Gujarat for the past 3-4 years, you should have changed your PP address to current address before applying for PCC. They further instructed me to go to RPO (the old office) on Monday and contact passport officer there with my problem.
I would like to know from fellow members/experts whether there is any requirement/rule for changing address in PP on changing one's residential address to another state. An urgent reply is requested since 60 days deadline is on our heads.
