Nothing is mentioned about POF in medical papers....They will ask specifically for that if required...

There is no mention of submission of updated POF IN THE LETTER dTD NOV08,2012 ,emenated from NDVO, WHICH CALLED FOR medical examination by DMP.The CAIPS NOTES procured by me about a month back clearly mentioned as under;
"PROOF OF FUND :OK", WHEREAS IN THE PREVIOUS ONE THAT I HAD IN APRIL 2012 ,IT WAS MENTIONED as, " PLEASE RECONFIRM".
Hope ,this should clear the doubt.

I didnt get a POF request though in my previous CAIPS notes, it was mentioned that updated POF to be verified. I am worried if they will ask again after receiving our MR's and PPT's.

I am not having any mention about interview and POF in my medical instructions.

Can some body advise me in getting a PCC in Gujarat? Every time I log on to Passport India website at 1.00 pm, all the available slots disappear within a minute and I am unable to get a date for going to PSK . This has happened on 4-5 days (also Internet connectivity issues occur) and I am getting frustrated since only 60 days are available in total after MR letter was received on 8 Nov. For previous PCC (in 2010) they had taken 45 days after application and I am concerned about meeting the deadline this time.
I have even visited local Police Commissioner Office recently but was told to go to PSK only as they were no longer issuing PCC but only PVC was issued which would not be valid for Canada.

I was also wondering whether it is possible to visit PSK w/o appointment for PCC. Any help/inputs in this regard would be appreciated.

If you will try to get an appointment you will get the under mentioned message on the Passport site:-

PCC applicants need not take an appointment from 11th May onwards until further notice. They only need to fill in the online application form and register online, atleast one day in advance before visiting the PSK. Applicants must visit PSK with required documents and a copy of the Online Application Receipt.
